Noah's Ark, A Symbol of Salvation

(Genesis 7: 1-24)

Recently, in April 2010, an expedition team made up of Chinese Christians explored Mount Ararat in Turkey, where the ark is believed to be located, for a long time to confirm the reality of the ark, captured it with a video camera, and revealed it to the world. So now, it has become a waste of time to debate whether 'Noah's Ark' is a real story or a fabrication.

Now, rather than questioning whether Noah's Ark is real or fake, we must study the Word of God to find out why God had to make Noah's Ark and what lessons this Noah's Ark gives us. The reason why God told us to build an ark is simple. God commanded us to build an ark to avoid judgment. The Bible says there are two judgments. The first judgment was Noah's flood judgment with water. At that time, there were only eight people on earth who were saved: Noah, Noah's wife, three sons, and three daughters-in-law. The Bible says, 'Only those who entered Noah's ark were saved.' He says. And, there remains one more judgment, the judgment of the end times. It is said that at this time He will be judged by fire. So, what must we do to be saved from the judgment of the end times by this fire?

The Lord gave us a hint. If you look at Luke 17:26, it says, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man.” The day of the final judgment will be the same as the days of Noah. At that time, judgment will be made with fire, not water, but only those who enter the ark will be saved.

Conclusion:

In the New Testament, Jesus created the church in Matthew 16 to save mankind. So, in the early church, to be saved, they gathered to the church. The Apostle Paul, wherever he went, preached the gospel and established a church. Even now, in order to be saved, you must enter the church. The church will work as the ark of salvation in the last days. Just as it is safe when it rains, when the water overflows, and when you are in the ark, when Satan continues to make God's people fall and corrupt you, when you enter the church, you are safe.

Some say they love God and believe in Jesus, but there are so many people who are not in the church. Revelation is a book of prophecy concerning the end times, and from Revelation 1, the Lord writes letters to the churches. And 'You must listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to the churches.' Saying so, he speaks to the church. And in the last chapter of Revelation 22:16, it says, "I, Jesus, have sent my angel for the churches to testify to you of these things.“

So, the Lord has spoken to the churches from beginning to end. Even now, through the church, he makes the ark of salvation play the role of the ark of salvation, through the church, he overcomes the world, and through the church, God's people are gathered. Still, if you're outside the church, you can't. Because the church is a gathering of saved people. Because the church is the body of the Lord, those who are in Christ are to live in this body.

Outside of church, to believe in Jesus is Non Sense. There is no such teaching anywhere in the Bible.

Therefore, just as the eight people who were in Noah's ark were saved, in the last days, in the church, you must enter the church to pass judgment.

At the end of the last days, like Noah, we too will have to preach the word of warning to the world. Noah said that he “preached righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5). We too must spread the word of evangelism to the whole world to come into the ark and be saved. I hope that we can all enjoy the grace of salvation that He gave to Noah and the grace of evangelism that He gave to Noah.
