Genesis 10
Historical facts of flood and the reason
(Genesis 8: 1-22)
Noah's Flood was recorded with a clear date, place, and person's name. So we have a lot of real evidence. Why did God do such a terrible thing?
In Noah's day, despite God's warning, many people ignored it, ate and drank, and they all perished. However, Noah's family, who accepted the Word by faith, built the ark in preparation for the Day of Judgment, and entered into the ark of salvation according to the Word, were saved. Even now, God is proclaiming a prophetic warning of the final judgment and salvation through Christ Jesus, but many deny, reject, and even ridicule this as in the days of Noah (2 Peter 3:3-7). However, if the Flood was a historical fact, it is clear that the warning of God's judgment at the end is also an upcoming historical fact. When we accept the historicity of Noah's flood event due to God's sovereign judgment, we will be able to believe and prepare for the final judgment and the Lord's second coming.

Conclusion:
It proved that Noah's Flood was a worldwide historical event. When modern science accepts these scientific facts, we believe that the Bible is the revelation of God infallible, and that it provides a true framework not only for spiritual truth, but also for historical and scientific interpretation. The Bible gives very detailed and accurate information about the period, scale, and development of the Flood. This tells us that Noah's Flood went beyond a simple spiritual lesson and brought about a great change in the created world.
What does the world look like today? The Apostle Peter said that many people in the world would deny and ridicule the promise of the Lord's return in the end times. It was also said that Noah's flood would be unclean (2 Peter 3:4-5). This is a saying that tells us a lot in our day.
