Genesis 20
THE COVENANT OF GOD THROUGH CIRCUMCISION
( Gen.17:9-14 )
God has given us a heavenly mandate to pass on the covenant to the next generation. Passing on only the mystery of the gospel to our future generations has a great deal to do with whether this nation will be used for world evangelization or whether it will end up as a once brilliant nation. We must hold on to the covenant and deliver it without fail so that God, who protects important people with the Gospel, will protect our nation because of us and our future generations. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because there were not ten righteous people. Because they failed to deliver the covenant, Cain not only failed in worship, but also killed his younger brother, Abel. would be a criminal Because the covenant could not be passed on to the next generation, the era of the Nephilim came in Genesis 6. On the contrary, the three who properly communicated the covenant were justified by God and were blessed to form a family that passed on the genealogy of the covenant. Through Noah, who received the blessing of Immanuel, who walked with God as a perfect person in his day, the ark movement to prevent the disaster of the Nephilim took place.
In each age, God has been calling a person and a team who have the mystery of the covenant to stop the flow of disaster that will inevitably come as a result of failure to deliver the covenant. After doing this, another thing that happened was the flow of the curse called the Tower of Babel movement, and God called a family to destroy it. This is the story of Abraham in the Old Testament text we read today. Today's text is that God gave Abraham a covenant and even told him how to deliver it.
All things get accomplished according to promise God accomplish all things through covenant. (Jer.33:2, 1 Cro.29:1-12)

Conclusion: We are saved by this covenant of grace.
Sinners in any age are saved by God's mercy and grace and by the atoning work of Jesus Christ, the only Mediator and Savior. In the Old Testament Age, people were saved by believing in the Messiah to come, and in the New Testament Age, they were saved by believing in the Messiah who had come. Every saved saint must always abide in the grace of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Our righteousness is this, only the blood of Jesus! Also, we must seek a life of righteousness within the perfect righteousness we have obtained in Jesus Christ, and practice loving one another in God's love.
This time is not the age of circumcision. It is the age of grace. Christ came and fulfilled the law. Just as the Sabbath was changed to Sunday, Christ became the owner of the new covenant. If the covenant of circumcision were important even in New Testament times, whether spiritually or hygienically, Christ would have said it at one time or another. However, the Bible clearly speaks of the new covenant. When Christ came, He instituted the sacraments, the statutes of love, not the laws of circumcision. Now, whenever Christians participate in the Communion Sevice by faith, they must eat and drink the bread and cup of blood of the Lord, remember the love of the cross of the new covenant (Jer 31:31) that the prophet Jeremiah has already revealed, and honor the true meaning of circumcision.
