인생의 목적은 구원받는 것입니다.

 

 예수님 믿는다는 게 뭡니까? 거리에서 “예수 믿으세요! 예수 천당! 불신 지옥!”이라 외치며 전도하는 사람조차도 예수그리스도 믿는다는 게 뭔지 오해하고 있는 사람이 많습니다. 그러다 보니 대부분 기독교인이 “내게는 기도 응답이 별로 없다”라는 얘기를 많이 합니다. 사람이 복음 듣고 예수그리스도를 구주로 영접하면 자신의 일인칭이 ‘나’에서 주 예수그리스도로 바뀝니다. 그런데 대부분 기독교인이 이 말을 못 알아듣고 ‘나’가 나의 주인이 되어 살고 있습니다. 그러면서 ‘나는 교회 오래 다니면서 헌금도 많이 했는데 기도 응답이 없다’라고 말하는 사람이 많습니다. 이런 교인들은 아직도 내가 나의 주인이 되어 사는 사람이 분명합니다. 예수그리스도를 주님으로 모셨으면 주님께 모든 것 맡기며 자신은 주님의 청지기로 살기 때문에 모든 삶이 응답인데, 참된 기도 응답이 뭔지도 모르고 내 소원 성취를 응답으로 오해하고 있는 것이지요. 그래서 정통 기독교회에서는 예수그리스도를 구주로 영접한 새 신자를 학습 교인으로 입교시켜 양육하는 것입니다. 

 

1. 출애굽 이후 새 신자 교육은 40년간 이뤄졌습니다.

현대 교회는 1년 가까이 새 신자 학습 과정을 마치면 많은 증인 앞에서 교회의 세례 문답에 답을 한 다음 세례를 받고 세례교인으로 등록시킵니다. 그런데 세례교인이 된 다음에도 내 소견에 옳은 대로 사는 분들이 많은 것 같습니다. 교회에서 집사직을 받기 전까지는 그래도 초신자니까 이해한다 해도 집사, 권사, 장로직까지 받았음에도 아직도 내가 나의 주인이 되어 나를 위해 사는 분들이 많다면 어찌 됩니까? 이것이 바로 하나님과 교회와 세상 앞에서 거짓의 아비 따라 사는 것이요, 재앙의 원인이 되는 것입니다. 

분명 예수그리스도께서는 당신을 구주로 모신 신자에게 ‘세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라’ 하셨는데, 신자라는 나 자신에게 주 예수님께서 함께하시는 응답이 없다면 어찌 된 일입니까? 나 자신이나 예수그리스도 중에 한 분은 거짓말하고 계시는 것입니다. 그런데 분명한 것은 ‘하나님이신 그리스도께서는 거짓말을 하실 수 없으시다’라는 사실입니다. 심각한 문제는 세상 신 마귀와 악령들에게 속아 신자의 신분과 권세를 누리지 못하고 ‘나’ 중심의 종교화된 상태에서 사는 것입니다. 여자분들 중에 ‘상상 임신’하여 입덧까지 하는 분들도 있다는 말을 들었습니다. 잠시 잠깐 구원받기 위해 주어진 일생에 ‘상상 크리스천’ 상태에 있으며 주어진 삶의 기간을 허송해 버리면 마지막 돌아가시는 순간에는 악령들에게 끌려가는 신세가 될 수밖에 없습니다. 

 

2. 구원받은 신자의 모든 것은 하나님께서 책임지십니다.

하나님께서는 예수그리스도를 구주로 모시고 인생을 맡긴 성도에게 아무것도 염려하지 말라 하셨습니다. 첫 번째 이유는 하나님이 너희 아버지시니 근심하지 말라는 것입니다. 둘째는 하나님이 그리스도로 오셔서 너희의 모든 문제 해결하셨고 부활하사 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 되찾으시고 너희와 항상 함께 계시니 근심하지 말라는 것입니다. 셋째는 영원한 천국 본향이 예비되어 있으며, 이 땅에 육신의 삶을 사는 동안 보혜사 성령께서 나 하나만 사랑하시는 것처럼 확실하게 보호하시고, 은혜 베푸시며, 가르치시며 인도하시니 근심하지 말라는 것입니다. 

그런데 이 엄청난 축복을 주시는데도 내가 나의 주인 노릇을 하며 주님께 맡기지 않으면 어떻게 됩니까? 내가 나를 책임져야 하므로 늘 사람 소리에 귀를 기울이고, 늘 여러 가지 세상 복잡한 일에 다 얽혀 묶이게 되고, 다른 사람과 비교하며 늘 열등감에 시달리기 때문에 마음에는 항상 근심이 가득 차 있을 수밖에 없습니다.

 

3. 구원받은 개개인은 하나님의 증인으로 쓰임받습니다.

모든 각 사람에게는 근본 원죄로 인하여 영원한 지옥 형벌을 선고받았기 때문에 참 자유와 평안함이 없습니다. 그러나 자신의 일인칭이 주 예수그리스도로 바뀐 사람은 ‘예수그리스도께서 죄와 허물로 죽었던 자신의 모든 문제를 해결해 주시고 건져내사 새 생명 주셨음’이(에베소서 2:1) 믿어지며 새 생명을 살게 됩니다. 그러면서 자신의 현주소가 에베소서 2:6절과 같이 천국 보좌로 옮겨진 사실이 확인됩니다. 과거, 현재, 미래의 모든 문제가 싹 다 해결된 것입니다. 요한복음 5:24 절에는 예수님께서 “내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 내 말을 듣고 또 나 보내신 이를 믿는 자는 영생을 얻었고 심판에 이르지 아니하나니 사망에서 생명으로 옮겼느니라”라고 확실하게 인쳐주셨습니다. 원죄로 인하여 선고된 영원한 지옥 형벌의 집행유예 기간을 살고 있었던 자신이 하나님 복음의 말씀을 받아 사면 복권 받고 새 생명 얻어 하나님의 자녀 된 신분과 권세를 얻게 된 것입니다. 여기에 대한 증거가 모든 삶에 나타나며 임하는 모든 문제 속에서 하나님의 말씀이 답이 되는 증거를 보는 것입니다. 

이때부터 주시는 말씀 속에서 하나님이 내게 주시는 기도 제목이 붙들어지게 됩니다. 그런데 이게 조금씩 조금씩 정확하게 성취되어 가는 것을 체험하게 됩니다. 이런 사람을 그리스도의 증인이요, 말씀의 증인이요, 지금까지 하나님이 나와 함께 해서 이뤄나가시는 증인이라고 합니다. 이 증거가 있으면 다른 사람이 보고 알게 되는 것입니다. 너희는 세상의 빛이라고 했습니다. 빛은 어두움에 비치기 때문에 어둠에 헤매던 사람이 보고 찾아옵니다. 

“아, 정말 이 하나님께서 나와 함께 계시는구나!”라는 사실이 날마다 누려지면 반드시 주변에 나타나게 되어 있습니다. 자연스럽게 자신과 함께 계신 그리스도의 증인이 되어지는 것입니다. 땅끝까지 이르러 그리스도의 증인으로 사시기를 축복합니다.

The Purpose of Life Is to Be Saved.

 

What does it mean to believe in Jesus? Even those people who evangelize on the streets shouting, “Believe in Jesus! Jesus heaven! No Jesus hell!” misunderstand what it means to believe in Jesus Christ. As a result, most Christians often say, “I don’t have many answers to my prayers.” When a person hears the gospel and accepts Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior, his or her first person view changes from “I” to the Lord Jesus Christ. However, most Christians do not understand this and they still live as “I”—as their own masters. At the same time, there are many people who say, “I have been going to church for a long time and have donated a lot, but there is no answer to my prayers.” It is clear that these church goers are still their own masters. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord, you entrust everything to the Lord and live as the Lord's steward; so your entire life is an answer. But because one is his or her own lord, he or she does not know what true prayer answer is and is misunderstanding one’s wish fulfillment as prayer answer. This is why in orthodox Christian churches, new believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are admitted and raised as learning members.

 

1. After the Exodus, education for new believers took place for 40 years.

Today, churches, after completing a nearly one-year learning course for new believers, the new believers answer the church's baptism questions in front of many witnesses, then get baptized and register as baptized members. However, even after becoming a baptized Christian, there seem to be many people who live according to what is right in their own opinion. Perhaps it’s understandable for lay people as they’re technically still new believers, but what about those who were appointed deacons and elders of the church and still live as their own masters? This is living according to the father of lies before God, the church, and the world; and it becomes the cause of disaster.

Jesus Christ clearly said to believers who accepted Him as their Lord and Savior, “I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.” But what happens if I, a believer, do not have the answers that show that Lord Jesus is with me? Either me or Jesus Christ is lying. But what is clear is that “Christ, who is God, cannot lie.” The serious problem is that many believers are deceived by the gods of the world, the devil and evil spirits, and cannot enjoy the status and authority of believers and live in a religious state centered on “me.” I heard that some women have “pseudocyesis” or “‘imaginary pregnancies”’ and even suffer from morning sickness. If you spend the short life given to you, which is the only opportunity given for you to receive salvation, as an “imaginary Christian” and waste your precious chance, you will inevitably end up being dragged by evil spirits at the moment of your final death.

 

2. God is responsible for everything for saved believers.

God told the believers who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and entrusted their lives to Him not to worry about anything. The first reason is that God is your Father, so do not worry. Second, God came as Christ, solved all your problems, was resurrected, regained all authority in heaven and earth, and is always with you; so do not worry. Third, the eternal heavenly home has been prepared for you, and while you live your life on earth, the Holy Spirit, the Counselor, protects you, gives you grace, teaches you, and guides you as if He only loves you; so do not worry.

But what happens if you act as your own master and do not leave it to the Lord even though He gave you this tremendous blessing? Since you have to take responsibility for yourself, you always listen to what people say, you are always entangled in various complicated things in the world, and because you always compare yourself to others and suffer from a sense of inferiority, your heart is bound to be full of worry.

 

3. Each saved individual is used as a witness of God.

There is no true freedom or peace because each and every person is sentenced to eternal punishment in hell due to the fundamental sin. However, those who change their “first person (I)” to Lord Jesus Christ will live a new life by believing that “Jesus Christ solved all their problems when they were still dead in their sins and transgressions, rescued them, and gave them new life (Ephesians 2:1).” At the same time, it is confirmed that his current address has been moved to the throne of heaven as written in Ephesians 2:6. All problems of the past, present, and future have been completely resolved. In John 5:24, Jesus clearly said, “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” He, who had been living a suspended sentence of eternal hell punishment due to original sin, received the word of God's gospel, was pardoned, was restored, received new life, and gained the status and authority of a child of God. Then evidence of this appears in all aspects of our lives, and we see evidence that God's Word is the answer to every problem we face.

From this point on, you will be able to hold on to the prayer topic that God gives you through the Word He gives you. And, little by little, you’ll experience that this (the Word and prayer topic) is being achieved accurately. People like this are called witnesses of Christ, witnesses of the Word, and witnesses of what God is accomplishing through them by being with them. If you have this evidence, others can see it and know it. You are said to be the light of the world. Because light shines in the darkness, people who are wandering in the dark see it and come towards it.

If you enjoy the fact that “Ah, God is truly with me!” every day, it will inevitably be apparent to those around you. You naturally become a witness of Christ who is with you. I bless you to live as a witness of Christ to the ends of the earth.
