문제 속에는 항상 답이 있습니다.
거의 모든 세상 사람들은 ‘나’라는 성에 갇혀, ‘돈’ 감옥에 수감되어, ‘누가 더 크냐?’ 도토리 키재기하며 살고 있습니다. 이게 바로 원죄에 빠져있는 증상이며 영적으로는 악한 마귀에게 잡힌 상태에서 마귀를 섬기며 살고 있습니다. 그러면서 자신들을 사회적 동물, 고등 동물…. 운운하며 동물 취급하고 있습니다. 아닙니다. 근본적으로 속고 있는 것입니다. 사람은 절대로 동물이 아닌 영적 존재이며, 자유의지를 가진 책임적 주체입니다. 본래는 하나님의 형상(창세기 1:27)이었는데, 마귀에게 속아(창세기 3:1-6) ‘나’성에 갇힌 자신의 형상(창세기 5:3)이 되어 마귀의 노예(요한복음 8:44)로 전락한 것입니다. 그런데도 하나님은 우리 각 사람을 사랑하사 모든 문제에서 벗어나 구원받을 수 있는 그리스도 언약(창세기 3:15, 모든 성경)을 세워 주셨습니다. 누구나 개별적으로 그리스도를 붙들고 구원받을 수 있는 유일무이한 기회로 육신의 삶을 부여받아 살다가 돌아가시게 되어 있습니다. 그런데 마귀와 그의 악령들은(계시록 12:1-9) 사기를 쳐 빼앗은 세상 권세를 가지고 각 사람에게 부여된 유일무이한 기회를 허송케하고 그리스도 붙들지 못하도록 속이고 있는 것입니다. 이게 우리 모든 각 사람이 처한 영적 상황입니다.
1. ‘나’ 중심의 사람이 그리스도를 주(主)로 모시면 구원받습니다.
하나님의 은혜로 내 자유의지가 발동하여 예수 그리스도를 구주로 모시면(요한복음 1:12) 구원받습니다. 이 귀한 믿음은 들음에서 나며 들음은 그리스도의 말씀으로 말미암는데, 아담 때부터 마지막 때까지 그 소리가 온 땅에 전파되게 하셨습니다(로마서 10:17-18). 그런데 방해꾼 마귀와 악령들을 꺾고 전도할 교회가 또다시 흑암 세력에 속아 어둠 가운데 빠져들고 있습니다. 그 증거로 대부분 나 중심에서 벗어나지 못한 채, 교회에 다니면서도 말씀을 나 중심으로 받고, 기도도 내 욕심으로 하면서 종교 생활하고 있습니다. 그래서 하나님께서는 이런 교인들을 치유하사 그리스도의 형상으로 회복시켜 주시고자 여러 가지 시험이나 재난을 당하게 하십니다. 사람들은 어려움이 오는 걸 싫어하지만 하나님께서는 여러 가지 시험을 당하거든 기쁘게 여기라 하십니다. 누구나 시험을 당합니다. 그러나 그리스도인들은 시험에 빠져 속지 않아야 합니다. 믿노라 하면서도 나 중심, 내 입장에서 시험을 당하면 묶이게 됩니다. 그러나 주님께 맡기고 주신 말씀 붙들면 자신이 그리스도 중심으로 변화되어지며 천국 보좌의 응답을 체험할 수 있습니다. 이 기본이 되어지면 남은 인생은 언약의 여정을 가게 되고 어떤 문제에도 답을 찾아 누리며 증인의 삶을 살게 될 것입니다.
2. 문제 속에는 항상 답이 있습니다.
여러 가지 시험을 만나거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라는 말씀은 언뜻 이해되지 않을 수 있습니다. 그러나 시험을 허용하신 하나님 중심으로 생각하면 시험에 뒤따르는 답을 기대하며 기뻐하며 감사할 수 있다는 말씀입니다. 답을 주시기 위한 시험이기 때문입니다. 일반적으로 사람들은 시험을 당하면 불평하고, 원망하고, 남 탓을 하며 시험 속으로 깊게 빠져들어 갑니다. 그러나 주안에 있는 성도는 시험이 오면 주님께 맡기며 주께서 주신 말씀 붙들고 답을 찾아야 합니다. 아브라함을 구원의 길로 부르신 주님은 한 걸음 한 걸음 인도하시며 독자 이삭을 번제로 바치라는 더더욱 큰 시험을 주셨습니다. 사실 모든 시험 문제에 대한 답은 예수 그리스도십니다. 예수 그리스도를 구주로 모신 사람은 닥쳐오는 시험을 축복받는 기회로 만들어야 합니다. 하나님께서 시험을 허락하시는 이유는 우리의 믿음을 키워주시고 축복 주시기 위해서입니다. 그리스도이신 방주 안에 있으면 제아무리 큰 파도가 몰려와도 파도타기의 기쁨과 답을 누릴 수 있는 것입니다.
3. 주님은 시험을 통해서 우리를 키우십니다.
야고보서 1:3절에 “이는 너희 믿음의 시련이 인내를 만들어내는 줄 너희가 앎이라.” 하셨습니다. 하나님께서 허용하신 시험을 ‘믿음의 시련’이라고 하셨는데 인내를 통해 우리의 믿음을 더더욱 성장케 하심을 말합니다. 언제 어떤 상황에서나 오직 예수님이 모든 문제 해결하신 그리스도이심을 체험케 하시며 “오직 그리스도!”로 답 내는 자로 세우십니다. 요한복음 16 : 33절에서 예수님은 “세상에서는 너희가 환난을 당하나 담대하라 내가 세상을 이기었노라.” 하셨습니다. 욥기 23 : 10절에 욥은 시험당할 때 “나의 가는 길을 오직 그가 아시나니 그가 나를 단련하신 후에는 내가 정금같이 나오리라.”라고 고백했습니다. 어떤 시련을 만나도 주님께 맡기고 정금 같이 될 축복을 바라보며 감사해야 합니다. 일반 사람들은 시험과 환난이 닥칠 때 “왜 내게 이런 고난이 오나?”라며 낙심하지만, 주안에 있는 우리는 “하나님! 이때 어떤 교훈을 배울까요? 어떤 답을 예비해 두셨나요?” 라 여쭈며 더더욱 주님께 집중해야 합니다.
주님은 믿고 구원받은 자들을 온전한 존재로 키워나가십니다. 야고보서 1:4절에서 “인내를 온전히 이루라”는 말은 “중간에 포기하지 말라!”는 말입니다. 주께서 주관하시니까 주신 말씀 붙들고 감사하며 기다리라는 것입니다. 인내는 내가 나의 주인 노릇하거나 자신을 낮추지 않으면 인내할 수 없습니다. 그러나 주님께 맡기고 기다리면 주님의 응답을 얻습니다. 그러므로 우리는 신앙생활에서 주께 맡기는 훈련을 부단히 해야 합니다. 무엇이든 작품이 만들어지려면 여러 과정을 거쳐야 하며 과정마다 반드시 인내의 시간이 필요합니다. 하나님은 당신의 온전하심 같이 신자도 온전하길 바라며 모든 신자의 인생을 끌어가시는 것입니다. 여러가지로 어려운 시기지만 감사하시며 하나님께서 빚어가시는 온전한 하나님의 사람으로 세워지시길 바랍니다.

Almost all people in the world live trapped in the castle called “me,” imprisoned in the prison of “money,” and measuring the height of acorns, asking “Whose is bigger?” This is a symptom of being immersed in original sin, and spiritually, we are living in a state of being captured by the evil devil and serving him. All the while, people pride themselves as social animals or animals with higher intellect. They say they are technically animals. But that is being fundamentally deceived. Humans are spiritual beings, not animals, and are responsible subjects with free will. Originally, man was made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), but he was deceived by the devil (Genesis 3:1-6) and became his own image (Genesis 5:3), trapped in the castle called “me,” and was reduced to a slave of the devil (John 8:44). Thankfully, God loves each of us and established the covenant of Christ (Genesis 3:15, the entire Bibles) through which we can escape from all problems and be saved. Everyone is individually given a physical life as a unique opportunity to hold on to Christ and be saved and then die. However, the devil and his evil spirits (Revelation 12:1-9) use the worldly power they took from man by conning him and deceive people so that they would waste the unique opportunity given to each person and not be able to hold on to Christ. This is the spiritual situation that each and every human being of us finds him or herself in.
1. If a ”me”-centered person accepts Christ as his or her Lord, he or she will be saved.
If you activate your free will by the grace of God and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (John 1:12), you will be saved. This precious faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes through the Word of Christ—Words He allowed to spread throughout the earth from the time of Adam to the very end of age (Romans 10:17-18). However, the church, which is supposed to overcome the devil and evil spirits and evangelize, is once again being deceived by the forces of darkness and falling into darkness. As evidence of this, most of us live a religious life without being able to escape from our own me-centeredness, and we receive God’s Word focused on ourselves as we attend church and pray according to our own desires. So God allows these church goers to go through various tests and disasters in order to heal them and restore them to the image of Christ. People hate when difficulties come, but God tells us to count it joy when we face various tests. Everyone is tested. However, Christians must not be tempted and deceived. Even though you say you believe, if you remain being me-centered and look at things with your own perspective when you’re tested, you will be tied down. However, if you entrust whatever problem that comes your way to the Lord and hold on to the words He has given you, you will be transformed into a Christ-centered person; and you will be able to experience the answer from the throne of heaven. Once these basics are established, you will spend the rest of your life on a journey of the covenant, find and enjoy answers to any problem, and live a life of witness.
2. There is always an answer to a problem.
At first glance, the message to count it all joy when faced with various trials may not be understood. However, if you think centered on God, who allowed the test, you can be joyful and thankful in anticipation of the answer that follows the test. Because it is a test to give you the answer. Generally, when people are tested, they complain, blame others, and fall deeper into the problem. However, when a test comes, believers in the Lord must leave it to the Lord and find the answer by holding on to the Word the Lord has given them. The Lord, who called Abraham to the path of salvation, guided him step by step and gave him an even greater test: to offer up his only son Isaac as a burnt offering. In fact, the answer to all test questions is Jesus Christ. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord Savior must turn the coming trials into opportunities to be blessed. The reason God allows tests is to increase our faith and bless us. If you are in the ark that is Christ, you can enjoy the joy and answers of surfing no matter how big the waves are.
3. The Lord grows us through trials.
James 1:3 says, “Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.” The test that God allows is called a “trial of faith,” which means that through patience, our faith grows further. He allows us to experience that Jesus is the only Christ who solves all problems at any time and in any situation and establishes us as the one who concluded with “Only Christ!” In John 16:33, Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” In Job 23:10, when Job was tested, he confessed, “But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.” No matter what trials you face, you must leave them to the Lord and be thankful while looking at the blessings that will be like gold. When trials and tribulations come to ordinary people, they become discouraged and say, “Why are these hardships coming to me?” But we in the Lord say, “God! What lessons will we learn from this? What answer do you have in store?” We must focus even more on the Lord.
The Lord raises those who believe and are saved into perfect beings. James 1:4 says, “Perseverance must finish its work.” This means “Do not give up halfway!” Since the Lord is in control, we must hold on to His word, be thankful, and wait. Patience cannot be endured if you are your own master and if you don’t humble yourself. However, if you leave it to the Lord and wait, you will receive His answer. Therefore, we must constantly practice entrusting ourselves to the Lord in our walk of faith. To create any work of art, it must go through several processes, and each process requires patience. God guides the lives of all believers, hoping that they too will be perfect just as He is perfect. We may be facing a difficult time in many ways, but I am thankful; and I hope that you will be raised into the perfect person of God that God is shaping you to be.
