Genesis 73

GOD’S PLAN WILL DEFINITELY

BE ACCOMPLISHED

(Genesis 44:14-34)

Introduction:

Look at Judah’s true confession today. 22 years ago, he was the leader who sold out Joseph. He was a wicked sinner. However, today Judah is confessing that

all his sins have been revealed before God. In Judah's eyes, he begins to see not only humans but also God.

What does the Bible tell us today? ‘True repentance is turning oneself to God.’ Joseph's older brothers must have felt a pang of conscience as they watched

the events of 20 years ago unfold before them. When they saw the silver cup found on Benjamin, they realized that they had committed a terrible sin.

Repentance is not done with words, but with actions. You come to a chapel and say you repent, but if a change of direction does not occur, it is not true

repentance. True faith always involves repentance.

Mark 1:15 says, "The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!"

No matter how much faith you have, you do not have true faith without repenting of your sins.

1. Reason

  1) Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

  2) Matthew 5:17-18

    V. 17. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

    V. 18. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law            until everything is accomplished.

  3) Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

  4) 1 Samuel 2:10 those who oppose the LORD will be shattered. He will thunder against them from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth.

"He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed."

  5) Job 23:10-14

2. How does He achieve it?

  1) God’s will for individuals

    (1) Abraham’s mistakes and blessings

    (2) Lot’s realization (2 Peter 2:1-11)

    (3) Isaac’s realization

    (4) Jacob’s realization (Genesis 35:1)

    (5) Joseph’s realization

  2) Fulfilling His will centered on the people of the covenant at home

    (1) Abraham

    (2) Isaac - Ishmael

    (3) Jacob - Esau

    (4) Joseph - brothers

  3) Fulfilling God’s evidence in the field

    (1) Genesis 37:1-11

    (2) Genesis 39:1-6

    (3) Genesis 40:1-10

    (4) Genesis 45:5

    (5) Today’s text

  4) Fulfilling God’s evidence throughout the world

    (1) Genesis 43:1-10

    (2) Passover

    (3) Red Sea

    (4) Jordan

    (5) Jericho

Conclusion:

Joseph, the Prime Minister of Egypt, is surprised to see Judah's heart like Jesus, who said he would become the Egyptian Prime Minister's slave and stay there.

This sight not only moved Joseph, but also made him decide to reveal his identity. When one person, Joseph, is properly established in front of God's covenant, we can see that everyone centered around him is established in front of the covenant. This is God’s plan and power achieved through the evangelist.

Please believe that God’s plan will definitely come true.
