하나님의 이름으로 사는 인생
우주 만물을 창조하시고 각 사람을 지으시고 주관하시는 하나님이 계시는데, 하나님을 부정하고 각기 내가 나의 주인이라 여기며 보다 많은 것을 차지하여 주인 노릇 하려는 인생들이 선고받은 형벌이 영원한 지옥 형벌입니다. 최초의 사람 아담과 함께 모든 사람이 하나님께 반역한 원죄의 참상이지요. 그러나 하나님께서는 사람들을 사랑하사 그리스도(동정녀를 통해 오실 메시아)를 통해 우리의 모든 문제를 해결해주시겠다는 재창조의 언약을 세워 주셨습니다. 약속하신 하나님이 직접 육신을 입고 동정녀를 통해 성육신하신 분이 예수 그리스도십니다. 그리스도께서 아담과 그 안에 있던 모든 사람의 죄를 대신 지시고 십자가에 못 박혀 죽으시고 사흘 만에 부활하셨습니다. 부활하신 예수 그리스도께서는 지금도 살아계시며 오고 오는 모든 각 사람의 마음의 문을 두드리십니다. “볼지어다 내가 문밖에 서서 두드리노니 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 문을 열면 내가 그에게로 들어가 그로 더불어 먹고 그는 나로 더불어 먹으리라”(계시록 3:20). 전도자를 통해서 이 복음을 듣고 마음의 문을 열고 노크하신 예수님을 구주로 영접하면 요한복음 1:12 절의 일이 일어납니다. “영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니”(요 1:12).
1. 누구든지 원하면 하나님의 사람이 될 수 있습니다.
누구든지 자신의 마음에 예수 그리스도를 주(主, Lord)로 모시면 운명에서 해방되어 하나님의 자녀가 될 수 있습니다. 마귀 자녀(요한복음 8:44)였던 신분이 바뀌고 영원한 산 소망을 갖고 순례자로 남은 인생을 왕 같은 제사장으로 살게 됩니다. 각기에게 주어진 때가 이르면 천국 본향에 입성하여 산 소망을 실제로 누리며 영원히 살게 됩니다. 이 땅에서 남은 인생을 순례자로 사는 동안에는 하나님께서 교회를 통해 주시는 말씀 따라 살며 주변 이웃들에게는 우리 안에 있는 소망에 관한 이유를 묻는 자에게 나의 주님이신 그리스도의 증인이 되어 사는 것입니다. 구원받은 하나님의 사람들에게는 각기에게 부여된 시대와 지역에 맡겨진 사람들에게 그리스도의 증인으로서 제자 삼을 사명이 있습니다. 이 사명은 전에도 없었고 후에도 없을 유일무이한 사명이며 그에 따른 최고의 상급이 준비되어 있습니다.
2. 순례자는 난민과 같은 삶이기 때문에 고난도 뒤따릅니다.
사도 베드로는 베드로전서를 통해 고난 중에 있는 성도들에게 믿음으로 고난을 잘 견디어 내도록 하기 위해 주님의 고난과 영광을 소개하고 있습니다. 믿는 우리의 본보기로 순례자의 삶을 사셨던 주 예수님의 모든 행적은 십자가와 부활을 향하는 길이었습니다. 주님은 십자가에 죽으시고 부활하심으로 우리를 죄에서 해방시키는 구속 사역을 완성하시고 지금도 우편 보좌에서 이를 주관하고 계십니다. 주 예수님이 십자가에서 목숨을 내놓으신 것은 대속의 제물로서 자기 목숨을 내놓으신 것입니다. 주 예수님은 의인으로서 불의한 자를 대신하셨습니다. 아담을 비롯한 모든 사람 중에 오직 예수 그리스도만이 의인이십니다. 그리고 그 밖의 모든 사람은 다 죄인입니다. 로마서3:10, 23절에 “의인은 없나니 하나도 없으며… 모든 사람이 죄를 범하였으매 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못하더니”라고 하셨습니다.
예수님이 많은 불의한 자를 대신해서 죽으시고 그들을 용서하시고 새로운 피조물로 삼으셨습니다. 주님은 우리를 하나님 앞으로 인도하시기 위하여 그렇게 하셨다고 사도 베드로는 말하고 있습니다. 그리스도의 사람이 되어 잠시 잠깐 이 세상을 사는 우리의 삶은 주님과 하나가 되어 주님의 사역에 동역하는 삶을 살게 됩니다. 이 기간에 우리는 주안에서 성장하며 주변 사람들이 주께로 나아올 수 있도록 그리스도의 증인이 되어 전도자의 삶을 사는 것입니다.
3. 예수 그리스도의 부활과 믿는 자의 산 소망
예수님께서는 대속죽음을 죽으셨을 뿐 아니라 자신의 위대한 승리를 선포하시고 부활하셨습니다. 예수 그리스도께서 부활하심으로 말미암아 우리가 거듭났으며 산 소망을 가질 수 있게 되었습니다. 부활하신 그리스도를 구주로 모시고 언약의 여정을 가는 우리는 마귀가 왕 노릇을 하는 이 세상에서 그리스도의 증인으로 살게 된 것입니다. 그러므로 믿는 우리는 남은 인생을 주님 안에서 고난의 바다를 항해하는 순례자로 사는 것입니다. 순례자들은 언뜻 보면 난민들처럼 보일 수도 있습니다. 그러나 그 안에 하나님의 형상(창세기 1:27)이 회복된 하나님의 성전(고린도전서 3:16)이 된 사람들입니다. 하나님의 성전이 된 순례자들은 호흡할 때마다 하나님의 생기(창세기 2:7)로 활력을 얻을 수 있게 됩니다. 또한 교회를 통해 주신 말씀을 붙들고 살기 때문에 하나님 말씀의 능력(히브리서 4:12)이 그 삶 속에 일어나게 됩니다.
하나님과 함께하는 순례자에게는 모든 문제, 모든 현장, 모든 사건이 기도요, 경배가 될 수 있습니다. 이것이 순례자의 여정입니다. 그 삶 속에 천국 보좌의 축복이 일어나기 시작합니다. 섬기는 천사들로 인해 시공간 초월하는 역사가 일어납니다. 이 비밀을 가지고 흑암 세상 살리는 생명의 빛을 비추는 등대 역할을 하는 것입니다. 하나님의 이름으로 세상을 사는 여러분은 일어나는 모든 사건, 모든 일을 자꾸 피하거나 해결하려고 하지 마시고, 거기에서 기도와 찬양, 경배를 찾아 누리시기 바랍니다. 구원받은 성도들은 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 아버지 하나님께서 불러주신 천국 보좌 중심의 삶을 살게 되었습니다. 보좌 중심의 삶이 누려지면 그 어떤 문제나 고난이 온다고 할지라도 넉넉히 이길 수 있을 것입니다.

Living Life in God's Name
There is a God—the one and only true God—who created all things in the universe, created each person, and governs them; the penalty for denying Him, claiming self-ownership and striving for control, is the eternal punishment of hell for their rebellion. It is the tragedy of the original sin in which all people rebelled against God with the first man, Adam. However, God loved people and established a covenant of re-creation to solve all our problems through Christ (the Messiah who would come through a virgin). Jesus Christ is the one whom God, who promised, directly took on flesh and incarnated through a virgin. Christ took the sins of Adam and all the people in him, was crucified, died, and resurrected after three days. The resurrected Jesus Christ is still alive and knocks on the door of the hearts of all people who come and go. "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." (Revelation 3:20). If you hear this gospel through an evangelist, open the door of your heart, and receive the knocking Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the event of John 1:12 will happen. "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12).
1. Anyone Can Become a Person of God if They Want.
Anyone who receives Jesus Christ as Lord in their heart can be liberated from fate and become a child of God. The status of being a child of the devil (John 8:44) is changed, and with eternal living hope, they live the rest of their lives as pilgrims, as royal priests. When the time given to each person comes, they enter their heavenly home, actually enjoy living hope, and live forever. While living the rest of their lives as pilgrims on this earth, they live according to the Word that God gives through the church, and to the neighbors around them, they become witnesses of Christ, who is my Lord, to those who ask for the reason for the hope within us. Those who have been saved and become people of God have a mission to make disciples as witnesses of Christ to the people entrusted to the era and region given to each person. This mission is a unique mission that has never existed before and will never exist again, and the best reward is prepared accordingly.
2. Suffering Follows Because Pilgrims Live a Life Like Refugees.
Through 1 Peter, the Apostle Peter is introducing the suffering and glory of the Lord in order to encourage the saints who are in suffering to endure suffering well through faith. All the actions of the Lord Jesus, who lived a life of a pilgrim as an example for us who believe, were a path heading towards the cross and resurrection. The Lord completed the redemptive work of liberating us from sin by dying on the cross and resurrecting, and He is still governing this from the right-hand throne. The Lord Jesus giving up his life on the cross was giving up his life as a sacrifice of atonement. The Lord Jesus, as the righteous, substituted himself for the unrighteous. Among all people, including Adam, only Jesus Christ is righteous. And all other people are sinners. Romans 3:10, 23 says, "There is no one righteous, not even one… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Jesus died in place of many unrighteous people, forgave them, and made them new creations. The Apostle Peter says that the Lord did so in order to lead us to God. Our lives as people of Christ, living in this world for a short time, live a life of becoming one with the Lord and cooperating in the Lord's work. During this period, we grow in the Lord and live a life of an evangelist by becoming witnesses of Christ so that people around us can come to the Lord.
3. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the Living Hope of Believers
Jesus not only died a substitutionary death, but also proclaimed his great victory and resurrected. Because Jesus Christ resurrected, we have been born again and have been able to have living hope. We who receive the resurrected Christ as our Lord and Savior and go on the journey of the covenant have become witnesses of Christ in this world where the devil reigns. Therefore, we who believe live the rest of our lives as pilgrims navigating the sea of suffering in the Lord. Pilgrims may seem like refugees at first glance. But they are people who have become temples of God (1 Corinthians 3:16) in whom the image of God (Genesis 1:27) has been restored. Pilgrims who have become temples of God are able to gain vitality from God's breath (Genesis 2:7) with every breath they take. Also, because they live by holding onto the Word given through the church, the power of God's Word (Hebrews 4:12) arises in their lives.
For a pilgrim who is with God, every problem, every field, and every event can become prayer and worship. This is the pilgrim's journey. The blessing of the heavenly throne begins to take place in that life. A history that transcends time and space occurs due to ministering angels. With this secret, they play the role of a lighthouse that shines the light of life that saves the dark world. You who live in the world in God's name, do not keep avoiding or trying to solve every event and every thing that happens, but find and enjoy prayer, praise, and worship there. Saints who have been saved have come to live a life centered on the heavenly throne that Father God has called through the Lord Jesus Christ. If a life centered on the throne is enjoyed, it will be possible to overcome any problem or suffering that comes.
