인간의 죄와 벌 그리고 구원의 손길

 

  모든 우주 만물과 사람을 창조하신 하나님의 소감은 “지으신 모든 것을 보시니 보시기에 심히 좋았더라”(창세기 1:31)였습니다. 그러나 창세기 3:22절에 “보라! (어찌하여 이리도 악해졌느뇨) 하시는 하나님의 탄식이 나옵니다. 아담과 함께 모든 사람이 선악과를 범하고 이제 인간들이 선악을 자기중심으로 판단하는 존재가 되어버렸기 때문입니다. 하나님의 기준이 아닌 자신의 기준으로 판단하여 선과 악을 결정하는 존재가 되어버렸으며, 자신의 기준으로 선과 악을 판단한다는 것은 하나님의 주권 아래 있지 않다는 것을 의미하기 때문입니다. 다시 말해 내가 좋아하는 것이 선이며, 나에게 해로운 것은 악이라고 생각하면서 자기중심적인 삶을 살게 된 것입니다. 그러나 하나님께서는 동정녀를 통해 오실 그리스도를 통해 구원해주실 새 언약을 세워주셨고(창세기 3:15), 모든 각 사람에게는 창조주 하나님을 알만한 능력이 남겨져 있다고 성경은 밝히고 있습니다(로마 서1:18-23). 

 

1. 하나님께 반역한 죄와 벌 그리고 구원의 손길

모든 국가나 단체는 기본적인 법 제도 아래 운영됩니다. 범법자에게는 벌칙이 가해집니다. 

우주 만물을 창조하신 창조주 하나님께서 만물의 영장으로 지으신 사람과 창조 언약을 세우셨습니다. 이 기본언약을 첫 언약(선악과의 언약, 창세기 1:1⁓ 2:17절)이라 하는데, 제약하는 법이 아닌 축복 언약으로 주신 것입니다. 인류의 대표인 아담이 마귀에게 속아 이 언약을 깨버리고 하나님께 반역하는 순간 복된 창조 질서가 파괴되고 저주와 재앙, 흑암 혼돈 공허가 임하게 된 것입니다. 만물의 대표인 사람이 창조주 하나님의 뜻을 거역하고 자기 생각대로 살게 된 것은 하나님에 대한 반역이요 멸망 그 자체이기 때문에 정해진 법대로 영원한 지옥 형벌이 선고된 것입니다. 군대에서 상급자 명령 불복은 사형과 같이 엄하게 벌해지며, 국가 유지의 근본을 깨트린 선거 부정은 국가해체 위기를 유발한 극악한 반역임과 같은 원리입니다. “아담이 범했을지 모르나 나는 아닌데---“라 여기는 사람도 많으나, 아닙니다. 성경은 분명 ”모든 사람이(아담과 함께) 죄를 범하였으매 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못하더니“(로마서3:23)라 선포하고 있습니다. 그러나 연이은 24절은 ”그리스도 예수 안에 있는 구속으로 말미암아 하나님의 은혜로 값없이 의롭다 하심을 얻은 자 되었느니라“와 같은 구원의 손길이 뻗쳐집니다. 구원의 손길은 새 언약인 오직 예수그리스도와 한 몸된 복음 진리, 그리스도의 십자가와 부활에 연합함을 말합니다.

 

2. 그리스도를 구주로 영접한 사람은 그리스도와 하나가 된 사람입니다.

그리스도와 하나가 된 사람은 삶 또한 그리스도인의 삶으로 바뀝니다. 경건(Godliness)은 ‘하나님을 닮는 것’입니다. 복음 진리는 구원받은 사람을 하나님을 닮아가는 인격으로 바꾸고 예수님 제자로서의 삶을 살게 합니다. 창세기 3:15절에 약속된 새 언약 그리스도 예수님의 히브리식 본래의 이름은 예슈아(ישוע)입니다. “여호와께서 구원하신다, 야웨는 구원이시다”라는 의미를 갖고 있습니다. 이렇듯 예수님의 이름에는 야웨, 하나님의 이름과/ 구원자, 즉 메시아이심을 뜻하는 단어가 들어가 있습니다. 이 구세주의 이름은 아담도, 아벨도, 셋도, 노아도, 아브라함도, 모세도, 다윗도, 바울도, 루터도, 오늘 믿는 우리도 알고 붙들고 하나가 된 이름인 주 예수그리스도십니다.

모든 각 사람은 이 땅에서 육신의 삶을 사는 기간이 예수그리스도를 구주로 영접하여 구원받을 수 있는 유일한 기회로 주어져 있습니다. 또한 구원받은 자는 후대들에게 이 복음을 전하여 구원받을 수 있도록 도와야 할 의무가 주어져 있고 그로 인한 상급을 받을 수 있습니다. 그래서 각 연령대별로 구체적인 경건(예수그리스도와 하나 됨)을 말해주라고 합니다. 삶으로 본을 보이며 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 계속해서 말하라고 합니다. 

도대체 내가 누구이기에 성 삼위 하나님께서 합력하사 나를 구원해주신 것입니까? 나를 하나님 자신보다 더 소중한 존재로 세워주신 것입니다. 이를 알고 감사하며 누리면서 그리스도의 증인이 되라는 것입니다.

 

3. 하나님은 모든 사람에게 구원을 주시고자 하십니다. 

그래서 하나님은 당신의 이 놀라운 은혜가 구원받은 나와 지역 교회를 통해 주변에 나타나기를 원하십니다. 하나님의 은혜는 성육신과 십자가와 부활로 집약됩니다. 하나님의 은혜는 또한 구원받은 성도를 양육합니다. 주의 성령께서는 구원받은 성도의 현재와 미래의 삶을 이끌어주십니다. 경건하지 않은 것과 이 세상 정욕을 다 버리게 합니다. 과거와 단절하여 백지 위에 새로운 그림을 그리게 해주시는 것입니다. 

우리가 하나님의 은혜를 깨닫고 감사할 때마다 우리의 신앙은 쑥쑥 자라게 됩니다. 버릴 것은 버리게 하시고 하나님의 자녀다운 삶을 살도록 하시는 것입니다. 

대다수 사람들이 건강 걱정을 하며 살고 있습니다. 이 세상에서 육신의 삶을 사는 동안 건강을 유지하는 비밀도 하나님께서미리 주셨습니다. 창조주 하나님이 우리를 지으시고 주셨던 매뉴얼인 음식(창세기1:29절)과 운동(창세기3:19절)을 회복해 보시기 바랍니다. 그 어떤 어려움 속에서도 속아서 묶이지 마시고 나를 지으셨고 구원해주시기 원하시는 하나님을 바라보시면 구원의 길이 나옵니다. 믿고 구원받은 사람들은 어떤 상황 속에서도 24시 주님과 함께하시며 주변 사람들에게 모든 문제 해결자 그리스도의 증인이 되어 사실 수 있게 될 것입니다.

Human Sin, Punishment, and the Hand of Salvation

 

The reflections of God, who created all things in the universe and humanity, was: "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." (Genesis 1:31 NIV). However, in reference to Genesis 3:22, a lament from God emerges, saying, “Behold! (How has humanity become so evil?).” This is because, along with Adam, all people transgressed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and now humans have become beings who judge good and evil based on their own self-centeredness. This is because they have become beings who determine good and evil based on their own standards, not God's, and judging good and evil by one's own standards implies not being under God's sovereignty. In other words, they began to live self-centered lives, thinking that what they liked was good and what was harmful to them was evil. However, God established a new covenant to provide salvation through Christ, who would come through a virgin (Genesis 3:15), and the Bible reveals that every person retains the ability to know God the Creator (Romans 1:18-23).

 

1. Sin, Punishment, and the Hand of Salvation for Rebelling Against God

Every nation or organization operates under a basic legal system. Penalties are imposed on offenders. God the Creator, who created all things in the universe, established a covenant of creation with humanity, whom He made as the crown of creation. This basic covenant is called the first covenant (the covenant of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Genesis 1:1-2:17), which was given not as a restrictive law but as a covenant of blessing. The moment Adam, the representative of humanity, was deceived by the devil, broke this covenant, and rebelled against God, the blessed order of creation was destroyed, and curses, calamities, darkness, chaos, and emptiness came upon them. Since humanity, as the representative of creation, defied the will of God the Creator and lived according to their own thoughts, this was rebellion against God and destruction itself, thus, eternal hellish punishment was pronounced according to the established law. It is the same principle as disobedience to a superior's order in the military being strictly punished like the death penalty, and electoral fraud that breaks the foundation of national maintenance being a heinous rebellion that causes a crisis of national dissolution. Many people think, 'Adam might have sinned, but I didn't,' but that is not true. The Bible clearly declares: “for all people (along with Adam) have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).” However, the subsequent verse 24 extends the hand of salvation: “and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:24). The hand of salvation refers to the gospel truth of being one body with Jesus Christ alone, who is the new covenant, and being united with Christ's cross and resurrection.

 

2. A Person Who Has Received Christ as Lord and Savior Is One Who Has Become One with Christ. 

A person who has become one with Christ also changes their life into a Christian life. Godliness means 'to resemble God'. The gospel truth transforms the saved person into a character that resembles God and enables them to live as a disciple of Jesus. The original Hebrew name of Jesus Christ, the new covenant promised in Genesis 3:15, is Yeshua (ישוע). It carries the meaning 'the LORD saves, Yahweh is salvation'. Thus, in Jesus' name, the name of Yahweh, God, and the word meaning Savior, that is, Messiah, are included. This name of the Savior—the Lord Jesus Christ—is the name that Adam, Abel, Seth, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Paul, Luther, and we who believe today know, hold onto, and have become one with.

For every person, the period of living a physical life on this earth is given as the only opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and be saved. Furthermore, the saved person is given the duty to preach this gospel to future generations, helping them to be saved, and can receive rewards for it. Therefore, it is said to speak of specific godliness (being one with Jesus Christ) for each age group. It is said to set an example with one's life and to continue speaking, whether the time is favorable or not.

Who am I that the Triune God would work together to save me? He has established me as a being more precious than God Himself. It is to know this, be thankful, enjoy it, and become a witness of Christ.

 

3. God Desires to Give Salvation to All People. 

Therefore, God desires that His amazing grace be manifested to those around through me, who am saved, and through the local church. God's grace is concentrated in the incarnation, the cross, and the resurrection. God's grace also nurtures the saved believer. The Holy Spirit of the Lord guides the present and future lives of the saved believer. It makes them abandon all ungodliness and worldly passions. It enables them to cut ties with the past and draw a new picture on a blank canvas.

Every time we realize and are grateful for God's grace, our faith grows rapidly. He makes us discard what needs to be discarded and live a life worthy of God's children.

Most people live worrying about their health. God also gave us the secret to maintaining health during our physical lives in this world in advance. Please try to restore the manual that God the Creator gave us when He made us: food (Genesis 1:29), and exercise (Genesis 3:19). Do not be deceived or bound by any difficulty; if you look to God who created you and desires to save you, the path to salvation will appear. Those who believe and are saved will be able to be with the Lord 24 hours a day in any situation and live as witnesses of Christ, the solution to all problems, to those around them.
