Leviticus 26.

Two Paths of Life: Blessing and Curse (Leviticus 26:1-13)

Verse 12: "I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people."

Leviticus 26 is like the conclusion of the entire book of Leviticus, and it speaks of the blessing according to obedience (3-13)

and the curse according to disobedience (14-39). God's covenant brings either blessing or curse. At the root of all blessings

and curses that humans enjoy lies an attitude toward God's covenant. In today's passage, the blessing for obedience comes first,

followed by the curse for disobedience, and like Deuteronomy 28, the blessing is short and the curse is long.

The original sin is that a person created to live a life of blessing has entered the path of curse.

God loved us and established the Christ covenant so that we could enter the path of blessing again.

1. Humans are Spiritual Beings Given Free Will.

1) Faced with the Word of God, humans have two paths to choose from:

2) The path of being guided by the Holy Spirit or following the devil.

3) Those who live as their own masters live a life of disobedience.

4) This choice is not made for them by others.

2. Blessings that Come to Those Who Obey God's Word

1) The blessings that come to those who obey are recorded in verses 1-13.

2) The basis for these blessings is essentially spiritual blessings.

3) For Christians, it is perfectly natural to cling to the Word and live a life of obedience.

4) However, this fundamental principle is not applied to religious Christians.

3. Living with Myself as the Master is a Life of Disobedience.

1) A life of disobedience naturally brings curses (14-46).

2) Second, drought and famine will come upon the realities of life (18-20).

3) Third, the desolation of the land will come (21-22).

4) Fourth, God said we will be engulfed in war and surrounded by enemies (23-26).

Conclusion: Lack of Interest in God's Word is Disobedience.

1) Christian disobedience is an attitude of disinterest in God's Word (15).

2) This passage is a message of hope and awakening for religious Christians.

3) It is about accepting and following Jesus Christ, the core of God's covenant, as our Lord and Savior.

4) Christ fulfilled all the Old Testament laws.

Today's passage emphasizes that the way to share perfect fellowship in the relationship between God and us and to receive

God's abundant blessings is to live a life of holding onto and following three things of today. True saints who receive

and follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior never despise or dislike God's Word, or insist on living with themselves

as the master. Those who are Christ's people, who have fulfilled all the requirements of the law, have been given

the blessed calling to live while pursuing God's Word and His will (the kingdom and righteousness of God).

In the life of God's kingdom, believers will enjoy the grace of "filling all the needs of the saints who seek first

the kingdom of God and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33)" as a bonus, according to the Lord's promise.

The basis of the blessed life that we who believe can enjoy is holding onto and enjoying three things of today.

I pray that you will hold on to the basics of a life that walks with God and be victorious.
