세상에서 가장 아름다운 것

 

 가을 풍경은 사진으로 보나 실물로 보나 참 아름답게 보입니다. 백두산, 금강산, 설악산의 가을 풍경은 순위를 가릴 수 없이 마냥 아름답기만 합니다. 세계에서 가장 아름다운 산이 무슨 산인지 아십니까? 그야 물론 아담의 반역 이전 에덴동산일 것입니다. 하나님이 천지를 창조하시고, 만물을 지으시고, 사람을 만드신 후 지으신 모든 것을 보시니 보시기에 심히 좋았더라고 하셨습니다. 그중에 특별히 에덴동산을 낙원으로 세우시고 아담에게 맡기셨습니다. 그런데 아담과 함께 모든 인류의 타락과 하나님을 향한 반역 사건이 에덴동산에서 발생했습니다. 아담과 함께 모든 사람이 죄를 범하여 영원한 지옥 형벌을 선고받고 마귀의 종으로 전락해버린 것을 원죄라 합니다. 이로 인하여 온 땅(만물)도 저주를 받고 고통 속에 빠지며 진정한 아름다움을 상실해 버렸습니다(창세기3:17절).

1. 진정한 아름다움을 상실한 이 땅에 새 언약이 주어졌습니다.

 만물의 대표인 각 사람이 자신에게 부여된 육신의 삶을 지옥 형벌 집행 유예기간으로 사는 동안, 새 언약 그리스도를 자신의 구주로 모시고 그리스도의 사람(그리스도인)이 되면, 사면 복권되어 새 하늘과 새 땅에서 영원한 삶을 보장받습니다(모든 성경의 약속). 이를 복음이라 하며 모든 성경은 성삼위 하나님께서 주신 복음을 말하고 있습니다.

아름다움을 상실한 이 세상에 오직 유일하게 아름다운 것은 예수 그리스도의 ‘복음’을 가리킵니다. 저주받은 인생에서 축복받은 아름다운 인생이 된 사람들은 <오직 복음만을, 생을 걸고 붙들고 누리며 전하는 삶>을 살게 되었습니다. 저주받은 세상에서 오직 아름답다고 칭해지는 한 가지는 복음 전하는 자들의 발걸음이라고 성경은 말씀하십니다.

이 사명을 감당할 때에 교회와 성도는 성장하는 생명력 있는 신앙생활을 할 수 있습니다. 복음을 붙들고 믿는 우리에게 주어진 가장 아름다운 복음전파의 바통을 붙들고 달려가며 잘 전달하는 것이 이 땅에 존재하는 최고의 아름다운 사명입니다.

2. 믿고 구원받은 우리는 항상 오직의 소명 의식을 가져야 합니다.

이사야 52:7절에 “좋은 소식을 가져오며 평화를 공포하며 복된 좋은 소식을 가져오며 구원을 공포하며 시온을 향하여 이르기를 네 하나님이 통치하신다 하는 자의 산을 넘는 발이 어찌 그리 아름다운고...”라 하셨습니다. 구원받은 우리는 어떤 상황과 형편 속에서도 우리와 항상 함께 계시는 오직 주 예수님의 증인 되는 삶을 살아야 합니다. 바울은 부활하신 주님을 뵙기 전까지 이 세상에서 추구했던 모든 것을 배설물로 여긴다고 고백했습니다. 그리스도를 아는 지식이 가장 고상하며 더럽고 악한 이 세상에 오직 복음만이 아름다운 것임을 선포한 것입니다. 이것이 바로 바울의 ‘소명 의식’입니다.

베드로전서 2:9절에 “그러나 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라” 하셨습니다. 이 아름다운 신분을 누리고 사는 것이 소명을 따라 사는 삶의 모습입니다.

3. 아름다운 사명을 받은 우리는 환경에 속지 말아야 합니다.

아름다운 복음을 누리고 전하는 삶을 살아갈 때에 항상 명심할 것은 함께 계신 주님과 하나 됨을 누려야지 주어진 환경 속에 묶이면 염려와 두려움에 속습니다. 환경에 속으면 두려워하게 하는 더러운 악령에 잡힙니다. 주 예수님의 성령께서는 오직 능력과 사랑과 근신하는 마음을 주십니다. 환경에 속은 사람들은 성경에 기록된 믿음의 선진들과 함께 최고 축복의 아름다운 길로 들어서지 못하고 적당히 타협하며 더러운 세상으로 돌아갔습니다.

믿는 우리에게 주어진 모든 현실은 우리를 구원하신 하나님께서 부르신 자리이고 뜻이 있어 주신 일임을 아시고 속지 마시고 주안에서 잘 감당할 수 있기 바랍니다.

결론: 가장 아름다운 것을 구원받은 우리에게 맡기셨습니다.

창조주 하나님께서는 시간과 공간, 그리고 그 안에 있는 만물을 창조하시고 주관하십니다. 이 하나님께서 사람을 특별히 하나님의 형상(하나님의 성전)으로 지으시고 만물을 주관하시는 일에 동역자로 세우셨습니다. 그런데 자유의지를 주셔서 창조하신 피조물 중에 문제가 발생했습니다. 찬양을 맡은 루시엘과 그 천사들의 반역이었지요. 군장 미가엘에 의해 진압되고 사람의 발아래 두었으나, 아담을 속여서 하나님을 반역케 한 것입니다.

그러나 그 또한 하나님의 허용 속에 되어진 일이었습니다. 영원 전부터 하나님의 뜻대로 예수 그리스도 안에서 구원하시기로 택하신 사람을 친 백성으로 재창조하시는 놀라운 계획 속에 현재 진행되어지고 있는 일이 하나님의 구원 사역입니다.

하나님의 이 모든 언약을 예수 그리스도께서 완성하시고 전파하게 하신 것입니다. 예수님의 십자가 대속 죽으심과 부활하심으로 사망을 폐하시고 복음으로써 영원한 생명을 드러내신 것입니다. 이것이 아름다운 것입니다. 그러므로 바울 사도는 이러한 복음의 내용을 가장 아름답고 가장 고상한 지식이라고 말씀하고 있습니다.

아담의 반역 이후 세상의 모든 것들은 악해졌습니다. 어떤 상황에도 속지 마시고 하나님의 복음을 오직으로 붙들고 승리하시기를 축복합니다.

The Most Beautiful Thing in the World

 

The autumn scenery looks truly beautiful whether seen in a photograph or in person. The autumn scenery of Mount Baekdu, Mount Geumgang, and Mount Seorak is so beautiful that it is impossible to rank them. Do you know which mountain is the most beautiful mountain in the world? Of course, it must be the Garden of Eden before Adam’s rebellion. After God created the heavens and the earth, made all things, and created mankind, He saw all that He had made, and it was very good. Among them, He especially established the Garden of Eden as paradise and entrusted it to Adam. However, the fall of all mankind together with Adam and the incident of rebellion against God occurred in the Garden of Eden. The fact that all people sinned together with Adam, were sentenced to eternal punishment in hell, and fell into becoming servants of the devil is called original sin. Because of this, the whole earth, that is, all creation, was also cursed, fell into suffering, and lost true beauty. (Genesis 3:17)

1. The new covenant was given to this earth that had lost true beauty.

While each person, as a representative of all creation, lives the physical life given to them during the period in which the execution of the punishment of hell is suspended, if they receive Christ, the new covenant, as their Lord and Savior and become a person of Christ, that is, a Christian, they are pardoned, restored, and guaranteed eternal life in the new heaven and new earth. (The promise of the entire Bible) This is called the gospel, and the entire Bible speaks of the gospel given by the Triune God.

The only truly beautiful thing in this world that has lost beauty is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who have become blessed and beautiful people from cursed lives now live a life of holding to, enjoying, and proclaiming only the gospel with their whole lives. The Bible says that the one thing called beautiful in this cursed world is the feet of those who proclaim the gospel.

When the church and believers carry out this mission, they can live a living, growing life of faith. Holding to the most beautiful baton of gospel proclamation given to us who hold to and believe the gospel, running with it, and passing it on well is the most beautiful mission that exists on this earth.

2. We who have believed and received salvation must always have the sense of calling of only.

Isaiah 52:7 says, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’...” We who have received salvation must live as witnesses of only the Lord Jesus, who is always with us, in every situation and circumstance. Paul confessed that he considered everything he had pursued in this world before seeing the risen Lord as garbage. He proclaimed that knowing Christ is the most noble knowledge, and that only the gospel is beautiful in this filthy and evil world. This is Paul’s “sense of calling.”

1 Peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” Living while enjoying this beautiful identity is the appearance of a life lived according to the calling.

3. We who have received a beautiful mission must not be deceived by circumstances.

When living a life of enjoying and proclaiming the beautiful gospel, what we must always keep in mind is that we must enjoy becoming one with the Lord who is with us. If we become bound by the circumstances given to us, we will be deceived by worry and fear. If we are deceived by circumstances, we will be seized by filthy evil spirits that make us afraid. The Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus gives only power, love, and self-discipline. Those who were deceived by circumstances did not enter the most blessed and beautiful path together with the forefathers of faith recorded in the Bible, but compromised moderately and returned to the filthy world.

May you know that every reality given to us who believe is the place to which God, who saved us, has called us, and something He has given with a purpose. Do not be deceived, and may you be able to carry it out well in the Lord.

Conclusion: God has entrusted the most beautiful thing to us who have received salvation.

God the Creator created and governs time, space, and all things within them. This God especially created mankind in the image of God, that is, as the temple of God, and established them as coworkers in the work of governing all things. However, among the created beings to whom He gave free will, a problem occurred. It was the rebellion of Luciel, who was in charge of praise, and his angels. They were subdued by the commander Michael and placed under the feet of mankind, but they deceived Adam and caused him to rebel against God.

However, even that was something that took place within God’s permission. God’s work of salvation is what is currently being carried out within the amazing plan of re-creating as His own people those whom He chose, according to His will from eternity past, to save in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ completed all these covenants of God and had them proclaimed. Through Jesus’ atoning death on the cross and His resurrection, He destroyed death and revealed eternal life through the gospel. This is beautiful. Therefore, the apostle Paul says that the content of this gospel is the most beautiful and most noble knowledge.

After Adam’s rebellion, everything in the world became evil. Do not be deceived in any situation. I bless you to hold to the gospel of God as only and be victorious.
