저주와 재앙의 원인과 해결책

 

부성애(父性愛)로 유명한 동물 가운데 황제펭귄이 있습니다. 영하 50도가 넘는 남극에 한겨울이 찾아오면, 암컷 황제펭귄은 알을 낳은 후 수컷 펭귄에게 그 알을 맡기고 2~4개월 동안 먹이를 구하러 다닙니다. 알과 함께 남겨진 수컷 펭귄은 그때부터 발등과 배 사이에 알을 품고 눈과 얼음만 먹으며 암컷이 돌아올 때까지 기다립니다. 칼바람을 온몸으로 이겨내며 알을 부화시킨 후, 자기 배 속에 있던 음식을 토해 내 새끼에게 먹입니다. 암컷이 먹이를 구해 돌아오면 다행히 교대로 먹이를 먹으러 갈 수 있지만, 암컷이 돌아오지 않으면 수컷은 새끼 펭귄을 키우다 지쳐 죽기도 합니다.

새끼를 위해 희생하는 황제펭귄의 이러한 본능은 창조주 하나님께서 넣어 주셨습니다. 이 본능을 거역하고 “아이고 발 시려서 못 살겠네”하고 알을 팽개치고 물속으로 뛰어들면 어떻게 될까요? 황제펭귄 멸종되겠지요.

 

1. 사람은 하나님의 형상대로 창조되었습니다.

하나님께서 우주 만물을 창조하셨고 사람은 하나님의 형상으로 만물의 영장으로 지으셨습니다. 창조주 하나님과 함께하며 하나님의 대사로 만물을 다스리고 축복하는 존재가 본래 아담(사람)이었습니다. 이를 영원히 붙들고 유지할 수 있도록 주어진 언약이 창조언약(첫 언약, 선악과)입니다. 황제펭귄은 아직도 알을 팽개치지 않고 잘 붙들고 있으나 아담은 모든 후대들과 함께 에덴동산에서 첫 언약을 파기하고 하나님께 반역한 것입니다. 반역의 결과는 하나님과 단절되고, 영원한 지옥형벌을 선고받았고, 속였던 마귀의 종으로 전락해 버린 것입니다. 이것이 바로 근본적인 저주와 재앙의 원인입니다.

 

2. 재 창조의 새 언약 그리스도

그럼에도 불구하고 하나님은 우리를 사랑하사 독생자(동정녀의 아들, 그리스도)를 통하여 구원하여 주실 것을 약속하신 새 언약(창세기 3:15)을 세워주셨습니다. 약속하신 하나님께서 직접 그리스도로 오셔서 십자가와 부활을 통해 구원사역을 완성하시고, 우리 각 사람을 구하시기 위해 부르시는 음성을 복음(Gospel)이라 합니다. 하나님의 형상이었던 사람이 마귀의 종으로 전락되었으나, 복음 받아 그리스도 예수님을 주인으로 모시면, 그리스도의 사람(하나님의 자녀)으로 거듭나게 되는 것입니다.

그리스도인은 그리스도와 하나 되어, 하나님의 말씀 붙들고, 성령의 능력으로 세상을 살리는 사람들입니다. 그런데 속이는 마귀에게 현대 기독교는 또다시 속아 넘어가고 있는 것 같아 안타깝습니다. 오늘날 대부분의 기독교인들은 내가 나의 주인 되어 살며, 나를 유지하기 위한 의식주 문제에 묶여 돈 중심으로 삽니다. 이웃과의 관계는 생존경쟁의 관계속에 너는 죽더라도 나 살고 보자는 삶을 살고 있습니다.

 

3. 재창조를 위한 복음마저 종교화되어가고 있습니다.

대부분의 기독교인들 마저 내가 나의 주인되어있는 상태에서 벗어나지 못하고 종교생활을 하고 있습니다. 내가 나의 주인되어 사는 사람들은 주어진 모든 것을 자기 유익의 도구로 사용하며 보다 많이 차지하기 위해 살고 있습니다. 다들 그러니 세상은 분쟁이 끊이지 않는 것입니다. 교회를 다녀도 그냥 자신을 위하여 교회당만 다니고 있을 뿐 그리스도와 하나님의 말씀과 성령의 역사와는 별 상관이 없는 삶을 살고 있는 경우가 대부분입니다. 그 결과가 어찌 되는지를 알아야 합니다. 소금이 제맛을 잃으면 뿌려진 음식들 다 썩게 만들것입니다. 등대가 불을 밝히지 못하면 주변을 다니는 배들이 길을 잃거나 암초에 좌초될 수밖에 없겠지요. 저주와 재앙이 전 지구적으로 퍼지는 원인이 뭔지 짐작 되십니까? 80억 인구가 가자 내가 나의 주인되어 살기 때문에 혼란과 분쟁이 끊이지 않는 것입니다. 이 어둠에 빛을 발해야할 기독교들은 대부분 하나님의 말씀과 분리되어 있습니다. 그리되면 전 지구는 하나님과 전혀 상관이 없는 흑암과 혼돈과 공허속에 빠져들어갈 수밖에 없을 것입니다.

 

결론: 길이요 진리요 생명되신 그리스도를 믿어야 합니다

그리스도 예수님을 믿는다는 것은 내가 나의 주인된 것이 하나님앞에 가장 악한 것임을 깨닫고 회개하여 내 모든 문제 해결하신 예수그리스도를 구주로 영접하여 모시고 사는 것입니다. 내가 나의 주인되어 사는 것은 하나님과는 원수된 삶이요 마귀를 아비로 모시고 사는 삶입니다. 마귀의 일은 사람을 속이고 도적질하고 죽이는 일 뿐입니다. 아담과 함께 모든 사람이 죄를 범하여 마귀에게 잡혀버린 순간 하나님께서는 그리스도 언약(창3:15)을 세워 주신 것입니다. 우리 모든 각 사람은 마귀가 세상 임금노릇 하고있는 상황속에서 그리스도 언약 붙들고 구원받고 상급받을 수 있게 하셨습니다. 하나님의 구원 사역이 끝나는 순간 예수그리스도께서 재림하시고 천국 혼인잔치와 최후의 심판이 있게 될 것입니다.

 

주어진 한 시대를 살았던 요셉과 형들의 차이가 뭔지 아시지요? 형들은 복음과 상관없이 종교 생활하며 살았습니다. 그러나 요셉은 창세기 3장 15절의 새 언약 그리스도 붙들고 하나님과 함께 하는 삶을 살았습니다. 자기 민족과 세계 살릴 언약을 꿈을 꿀 정도로 붙들었습니다(창세기 37장). 형들이 죽이려다 실패하고 노예로 팔아 버렸습니다. 그러나 그리스도의 사람이 된 요셉은 어떤 상황에 처하더라도 문제 되지 않았고, 그 문제들이 오히려 큰 응답을 누리는 문들이 되었습니다. 요셉은 항상 그리스도인으로 하나님과 함께하는 임마누엘의 축복을 누리고 있었기 때문입니다. 오늘 여러분들이 이 말을 알아들으시면 쉽게 쉽게 치유되며 응답을 누릴 수가 있습니다.

여러분이 복음 붙들고(계시록 3:20), 그리스도 예수님을 구주로 모시면(요한복음 1:12), 하나님과 한 몸 된 그리스도인이 되어 영생의 삶을 살게 됩니다. 영생은 하나님의 말씀을 먹으며(시편 1:1-6), 영원한 하나님의 삶을 사는 것입니다. 그러면 옛 나의 능력으로 사는 게 아니라, 하나님 성령의 능력으로 살게 됩니다. 주변 사람들과 생존경쟁하는 삶이 아니라, 세상을 구원하시는 하나님의 동역자로 살게 됩니다. 세계 살리는 축복의 주역이 되시기 바랍니다.

The Cause and Solution of Curses and Disasters

 

Among animals known for paternal love, there is the emperor penguin. When midwinter comes in Antarctica, where temperatures fall below minus 50 degrees, the female emperor penguin lays an egg, entrusts it to the male penguin, and goes around looking for food for two to four months. The male penguin left with the egg then holds the egg between the tops of his feet and his belly, eating only snow and ice while waiting for the female to return. After enduring the freezing wind with his whole body and hatching the egg, he vomits up the food in his stomach and feeds the chick. If the female returns with food, he can fortunately take turns going to eat, but if the female does not return, the male may die from exhaustion while raising the chick.

This instinct of the emperor penguin to sacrifice for its young was placed there by God the Creator. What would happen if it went against this instinct and said, “Oh, my feet are so cold I cannot live,” abandoned the egg, and jumped into the water? Emperor penguins would become extinct.

 

1. People were created in the image of God.

God created the universe and all things, and He made people in the image of God as the crown of all creation. Originally, Adam, meaning mankind, was a being who was with God the Creator and ruled and blessed all things as God’s ambassador. The covenant given so that he could hold to and maintain this forever was the covenant of creation, the first covenant, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Emperor penguins still do not abandon their eggs but hold them well, but Adam, together with all future generations, broke the first covenant in the Garden of Eden and rebelled against God. The result of rebellion was that he was cut off from God, sentenced to eternal punishment in hell, and fell into being a slave of the devil who had deceived him. This is the fundamental cause of curses and disasters.

 

2. Christ, the new covenant of re-creation

Nevertheless, because God loved us, He established the new covenant, Genesis 3:15, in which He promised to save us through His one and only Son, the son of the virgin, Christ. The God who promised personally came as Christ, completed the work of salvation through the cross and resurrection, and the voice calling each one of us in order to save us is called the gospel. Although people who were the image of God fell into being slaves of the devil, when they receive the gospel and receive Christ Jesus as their Lord, they are born again as people of Christ, children of God.

Christians are people who become one with Christ, hold to God’s Word, and save the world by the power of the Holy Spirit. Yet it is heartbreaking that modern Christianity seems to be deceived again by the deceiving devil. Most Christians today live as their own masters and live money-centered lives, bound by the problems of food, clothing, and shelter to maintain themselves. In relationships with neighbors, they live in the relationship of survival competition, saying, “Even if you die, I must live first.”

 

3. Even the gospel for re-creation is becoming religious.

Even most Christians have not escaped from the state of being their own masters and are living religious lives. People who live as their own masters use everything given to them as tools for their own benefit and live to possess more. Because everyone does this, conflict never ceases in the world. Even when they attend church, in most cases they merely go to the church building for themselves, while living lives that have little to do with Christ, God’s Word, and the work of the Holy Spirit. We must know what the result of this will be. If salt loses its taste, it will make all the food it is sprinkled on rot. If a lighthouse cannot shine its light, the ships passing nearby cannot help but lose their way or run aground on reefs. Can you guess what causes curses and disasters to spread globally? Because eight billion people each live as their own masters, confusion and conflict never cease. Most Christians, who should shine light in this darkness, are separated from God’s Word. If this happens, the whole earth will inevitably fall into darkness, chaos, and emptiness that have nothing to do with God.

 

Conclusion: We must believe in Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life.

Believing in Christ Jesus means realizing that living as my own master is the most evil thing before God, repenting, and receiving and serving Jesus Christ, who solved all my problems, as Lord and Savior. Living as my own master is a life that is hostile to God and a life that serves the devil as father. The work of the devil is only to deceive, steal, and kill people. The moment all people sinned together with Adam and were captured by the devil, God established the covenant of Christ. God made it possible for each one of us to hold to the covenant of Christ, receive salvation, and receive reward in the situation where the devil is acting as the ruler of the world. The moment God’s work of salvation is finished, Jesus Christ will return, and there will be the wedding banquet of heaven and the final judgment.

 

You know the difference between Joseph and his brothers, who lived in the same age, right? His brothers lived religious lives that had nothing to do with the gospel. But Joseph held to the new covenant of Christ in Genesis 3:15 and lived a life with God. He held to the covenant to save his own people and the world to the point that he dreamed it. His brothers tried to kill him, failed, and sold him as a slave. However, Joseph, who had become a person of Christ, was not troubled no matter what situation he faced, and those problems instead became doors through which he enjoyed great answers. This was because Joseph was always enjoying the blessing of Immanuel, being with God as a Christian. If you understand this today, you will be healed easily and enjoy answers.

If you hold to the gospel and receive Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior, you will become a Christian who is one body with God and live the life of eternal life. Eternal life is eating God’s Word and living God’s eternal life. Then you will no longer live by the power of the old self, but by the power of God the Holy Spirit. You will not live a life of survival competition with the people around you, but as God’s coworker who saves the world. May you become the main figures of the blessing that saves the world.
