하나님이 우리 각 사람에게 원하시는 것
What God Wants from Each of Us
사람은 누구나 어떤 상황에서든 창조주 하나님이 원하시는 것만 붙들면 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루며 귀히 쓰임 받을 수 있습니다.
제가 칠십여 년을 살아오며 내린 결론은 하나님께서 쓰시지 못할 인생은 한 사람도 없다는 사실입니다. 하나님께서 쓰시지 못할 만큼 망가진 인생도
없습니다. 하나님께서는 어느 누구든 하나님이 주시는 언약만 붙들면 다 귀하게 쓰십니다. 하나님께서는 평범한 자를 들어 비범하게 쓰십니다.
하나님께서는 정말 별 볼 일 없는 사람들을 하나님의 위대한 역사의 도구로 쓰십니다. 촌구석 무지랭이였으나 하나님의 은혜로 새 언약 붙들고 난 후 필리핀 선교사로 쓰임 받고 있는 제가 그 증인입니다.
1. 하나님은 우리 각 사람이 복음 붙들고 구원받기를 원하십니다.
원죄인 운명에서 벗어나 구원받을 수 있는 비밀은 3가지만 붙들면 됩니다. 첫째, 성경 창세기 1장부터 3장을 붙들고 내가 나의 주인 되어 사는 것이
하나님께 반역한 원죄의 결과임을 인정하고 회개해야 합니다. 둘째, 하나님이 세워주신 구원받을 수 있는 새 언약(창세기 3:15절) 예수 그리스도를
구주로 모셔야 합니다(계시록3:20-->요한복음1:12). 셋째, 구주로 모셨으면 머리 되신 주 예수님의 몸이 되어 사는 것입니다(갈라디아서2:20절).
주 예수님이 나의 머리가 되시면 빈부귀천의 세상 가치관에 묶이지 않고 언제 어디서 어떤 상황에서든 자유함을 누릴 수 있습니다.
주 예수님은 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 가지신 분이시기 때문입니다. 이 주님의 몸이며 성전 된 우리 각 사람은 주어진 시대와 지역에서 새로운 삶을
살게 된 것입니다. 구원받기 전에 우리의 혼은 흑암의 영에 잡혀 염려와 두려움에 잡혀 살았습니다. 그러나 이제 하나님의 성령의 보호 아래 있으므로 아무리 어려운 시험, 고난, 시련이 있다 할지라도 두려워할 필요가 없게 된 것입니다. 우리의 혼(마음, 생각)을 두렵게 하였던 영은 마귀와
악령들로부터 온 것입니다. 그러나 예수 그리스도를 구주로 모시고 새로운 삶을 사는 사람은 하나님의 완벽한 보호 아래 있으므로
그 어떤 염려나 두려움이 와도 주님께 맡기고 주님의 인도를 받으면 됩니다.
2. 하나님은 구원받은 우리 각 사람이 성령님의 인도받기를 원하십니다.
하나님은 구원받은 우리에게 세상을 이길 수 있는 능력을 주셨습니다. 두려워할 필요가 없습니다. 주님이 우리의 힘이 되시고 우리의 능력이 되셔서
세상을 이기게 하시는데, 주의 이름으로 사는 우리는 무슨 일을 하든지 주님만 의지하면 됩니다. 하나님과 우리를 연결하고 있는 사랑의 줄은 세상의 그 어떠한 것도 끊을 수 없는 강한 것입니다(로마서 8:31). 물론 우리는 넘어질 때도 있습니다. 그러나 이 세상의 그 어떠한 것도 끊을 수 없는 사랑의 줄을 붙잡고 다시 일어설 수 있습니다.
예전에 뿌리 내려 있었던 나 중심 육신 중심의 흑암의 그림자가 올라올 때마다 정신을 가다듬고 주님께 집중하면 됩니다. 우리 주변의 이웃은
생존경쟁의 대상이 아니라 내 몸과 같이 사랑해줄 대상입니다. 하나님이 우리와 함께하시며 세상을 이길 수 있는 힘을 주셨습니다.
머리 되신 주 예수님께 맡기면 주의 성령께서 주관하시며 인도해 주십니다.
3. 주 예수님은 우리를 거룩하신 소명으로 부르셨습니다.
세상에서 가장 강한 사람은 하나님의 소명으로 사는 사람입니다. 우리는 하나님의 뜻과 영광을 위해 살아가는 소명을 받았습니다.
하나님의 주 사역인 세계 복음화의 동역자로 우리를 부르신 것입니다. 이 소명으로 살았던 사도 바울의 말년 고백이 디모데후서 4:8절입니다.
“이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비 되었으므로”. 우리도 의의 면류관이 예비 된 이 길로 부름 받았음을 감사드리며 세상 살리는 일에
쓰임 받으며 천성 길을 함께 걸어갈 수 있기 바랍니다. 하나님은 그 뜻에 따라 믿고 따르는 자에게 모든 것을 합력하여 선을 이뤄가십니다.
하나님께서 구원받은 우리와 항상 함께하시는 신묘막측한 방법이 보혜사 성령님이십니다. 함께 하시는 주의 성령께서는 우리를 눈동자와 같이
보호하시며 평안을 주십니다. 물론 당면한 상황 속에서 자칫 두려움을 느낄 수도 있을 것입니다. 그러나 주님은 속지 말고 모든 염려를 감사함으로
주께 아뢰어 맡기라 하셨습니다. 하나님의 성령께서 우리와 함께하시기에 염려와 두려움에 속지 마시고 모든 상황을 온전히 맡겨드리며
인도받으시기 바랍니다.
하나님이 믿는 우리 각 사람에게 보내주신 분이 누구신지 생각하시기 바랍니다. 하나님이 우리를 구원하시기 위해 새 언약 그리스도를 약속하셨고,
약속하신 대로 직접 육신을 입고 예수님으로 오셔서 우리 죄를 대신 지시고 십자가에 달려 죽으셨고 사흘 만에 부활하셨습니다.
이루신 구원 사역을 우리 각 사람에게 적용시켜 주시기 위해 승천하시면서 성령님을 보내셨습니다. 보혜사 성령으로 오신 하나님이 우리에게
더 이상 무엇을 아끼시겠습니까?
마28:20절에 “내가 너희에게 분부한 모든 것을 가르쳐 지키게 하라 볼지어다 내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라 하시니라” 하셨습니다.
어떤 상황에서든 속지 마시고 주안에서 항상 승리하시기를 축복합니다.

What God Wants from Each of Us
Anyone, in any situation, can have all things work together for good and be used preciously if they only hold to what God the Creator
wants.
The conclusion I have reached after living for over seventy years is that there is not one life God cannot use. There is no life so broken
that God cannot use it. If anyone holds only to the covenant God gives, God uses that person preciously. God lifts up ordinary people
and uses them extraordinarily. God uses people who seem truly insignificant as instruments of His great work. I, who was an ignorant
person from a remote village, but by God’s grace held to the new covenant and am now being used as a missionary in the Philippines,
am a witness to this.
1. God wants each of us to hold to the gospel and receive salvation.
To escape the fate of original sin and receive salvation, we only need to hold to three things. First, we must hold to Genesis
chapters 1 through 3 and acknowledge and repent that living as my own master is the result of original sin, rebellion against God.
Second, we must receive Jesus Christ, the new covenant God established for salvation, as Lord and Savior.
(Genesis 3:15; Revelation 3:20 → John 1:12) Third, once we have received Him as Lord and Savior, we must live as the body of
the Lord Jesus, who is the Head. (Galatians 2:20)
When the Lord Jesus becomes my Head, I can enjoy freedom anytime, anywhere, and in any situation, without being bound by
the worldly values of rich or poor, noble or lowly. This is because the Lord Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth. Each of us,
who has become the body and temple of this Lord, comes to live a new life in the age and region given to us. Before receiving salvation,
our soul was seized by the spirit of darkness and lived bound by anxiety and fear. But now, since we are under the protection of God’s
Holy Spirit, no matter what difficult tests, suffering, or trials there may be, we do not need to fear. The spirit that made our soul,
meaning our heart and thoughts, afraid came from the devil and evil spirits. However, a person who receives Jesus Christ as Lord
and Savior and lives a new life is under God’s perfect protection, so whatever anxiety or fear comes, they only need to entrust it
to the Lord and receive the Lord’s guidance.
2. God wants each of us who has received salvation to be guided by the Holy Spirit.
God has given us who are saved the power to overcome the world. There is no need to fear. The Lord becomes our strength and
our power and enables us to overcome the world, so we who live in the Lord’s name only need to rely on the Lord in whatever we do.
The cord of love connecting God and us is so strong that nothing in the world can cut it. (Romans 8:31) Of course, we may fall at times.
But we can stand again by holding to the cord of love that nothing in this world can cut.
Whenever the shadow of darkness rooted in self-centeredness and flesh-centeredness from the past rises up, we only need to gather
our minds and focus on the Lord. Our neighbors around us are not objects of survival competition, but people to love as our own bodies.
God is with us and has given us the strength to overcome the world. When we entrust ourselves to the Lord Jesus, who is the Head,
the Spirit of the Lord governs and guides us.
3. The Lord Jesus has called us with a holy calling.
The strongest person in the world is the person who lives by God’s calling. We have received the calling to live for God’s will and glory.
He has called us as coworkers in world evangelization, which is God’s main work. The confession in the later years of the apostle Paul,
who lived by this calling, is found in 2 Timothy 4:8: “Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness.” May we also give thanks
that we have been called to this path where the crown of righteousness is prepared, and may we be used in the work of saving the world
as we walk together on the heavenly path. God works all things together for good for those who believe and follow according to His will.
The mysterious and profound way God is always with us who are saved is the Holy Spirit, the Counselor. The Spirit of the Lord who is with
us protects us like the apple of His eye and gives us peace. Of course, in the situation before us, we may feel fear. But the Lord told us
not to be deceived, but to present all our anxieties to Him with thanksgiving and entrust them to Him. Since God’s Holy Spirit is with us,
do not be deceived by anxiety and fear, but completely entrust every situation to Him and receive His guidance.
Please think about who God has sent to each of us who believe. God promised Christ, the new covenant, in order to save us.
According to His promise, He personally took on flesh, came as Jesus, bore our sins in our place, died on the cross, and rose again
on the third day. In order to apply the completed work of salvation to each of us, He sent the Holy Spirit when He ascended.
What more would God, who came to us as the Holy Spirit, the Counselor, withhold from us?
Matthew 28:20 says, “And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age.”
I bless you not to be deceived in any situation, but to always have victory in the Lord.
