누구든 하나님의 말씀 붙들면 성공합니다.
Anyone Who Holds to God's Word Will Succeed.
본래 사람은 하나님의 말씀 붙들고 하나님의 영광을 누리며 살도록 피조된 만물의 영장이었습니다. 그런데 발아래 두고 다스릴 마귀의 거짓말에 속아 하나님께 반역하고 지옥 자식이 되어버린 게 근본 문제요 이를 원죄라 합니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님은 우리를 사랑하사 그리스도를 통하여 구원하시겠다는 새 언약의 말씀을 주셨습니다. 하나님의 새 언약 그리스도를 믿고 구주로 영접한 사람을 그리스도인이라고 합니다.
1. 기독교인들의 실패 원인.
하나님의 말씀만 붙들면 성공의 삶을 살수 있는 사람들이 기독 신자들입니다. 그런데 그리스도인들의 실패 원인 중에 가장 큰 것은 자신이 원하는 말씀을 붙잡으려고 하는 것입니다. 주인 되시는 하나님이 주시는 말씀을 붙잡아야 합니다. 그러나 기독 신자들이 각기 자신이 원하는 말씀만을 붙잡고자 한다면 아직도 내가 나의 주인된 상태에 있으며, 아직도 원죄에 묶여있는 증거가 될 것입니다. 거기에서 한발 더 나아가 기독 신자라는 사람들이 교회를 통해 하나님이 내게 말씀하신다는 사실을 모르고 사는 경우가 많습니다. 그러기에 자기 소견에 옳은 대로 살아가면서 뭔가 자신을 위하는 종교 행위로 교회당에 출석하는 것입니다. 그 결과 전 세계교회가 연약한 상태에 빠져들어 가며 심지어 문을 닫는 교회당들이 많아지고 있습니다. 또한, 대부분 기독교인이라는 사람들이 흑암 세상에 빛을 발하는 삶은 엄두도 내지 못한 채 생존을 위해 세상에 빌붙어 종노릇 하며 사는 사람들이 많아진 것입니다. 더 무서운 건 자신도 모르게 사탄의 종노릇 하고 있다는 사실입니다.
2. 자신을 부르신 하나님의 뜻을 알아야 합니다.
하나님께서 기독교인들을 부르신 뜻은 첫째는 원하신 자들을 부르셨고, 둘째는 항상 함께 있기 위함이며, 셋째는 주변 사람들에게 그리스도의 증인으로 세우사 전도도 하며, 넷째는 세상을 장악하고 속이고 있는 귀신들을 내쫓는 권세를 주시기 위함입니다(마가복음 3:13-15). 이 모든 새로운 삶을 하나님께서는 교회를 통해 말씀을 주시며 이뤄 가십니다. 그러기에 신앙생활에서 가장 중요한 일은 교회를 통해 하나님의 말씀을 받는 일입니다. 그러므로 성도들은 자신이 원하는 말씀을 찾으면 안 됩니다. 말씀을 받아 전하는 목사도 자신이 설교 준비를 해서 전하게 되면 실패합니다. 하나님이 교인들과 자신에게 주시는 말씀을 두렵고 떨림으로 잘 받아서 전달해야 합니다. 그런 목사를 일컬어 메신저라고 합니다. 하나님이 원하시는 말씀을 정확하게 붙들고 선포해야 합니다. 이 기본이 흔들리면 지역 교회와 각 교인들은 갈팡질팡할 수밖에 없습니다.
3. 주님은 몸된 교회의 강단을 통해 말씀을 주십니다.
혹 병든 분들 계시면 의사나 약사의 도움도 받아야겠지만, 그보다 더 중요한 것은 하나님께서 내게 주시는 말씀을 정확하게 붙잡아야 합니다. 우리의 생사화복(生死禍福)은 하나님의 손에 있습니다. 우리 인간이 하나님께 나아가는 길을 막고 끝까지 영원한 지옥으로 끌고 가고자 하는 사탄은 별별 방법을 총동원하며 하나님의 말씀을 받지 못하도록 방해하고 있습니다. 그러기 때문에 만물 중에 최고의 존재로 피조되어 하나님이 창조하신 우주 안에 살면서도 대부분 마귀의 거짓 말을 가르치고 배우면서 살고 있습니다. 신앙의 기본인 창세기 1장1절 말씀을 중시여기지 않는 사람이 많습니다. 그러면서 우주 생성은 대폭발설로, 생명체는 우연히 생겨서 진화에 진화를 거듭하여 오늘에 이르렀다는 진화론으로 가르치고 배우는 것이 세상 학문의 근본이 되어있습니다. 근본이 틀어져 있기 때문에 인생 자체가 틀린 길로 가는 것입니다.
결론: 말씀이신 하나님과 하나되어야 합니다.
하나님의 형상대로 피조된 사람은 반드시 하나님 앞에서 하나님의 말씀 붙들고 살아야 행복할 수 있는 존재입니다. 첫 언약의 말씀을 거역하고 마귀의 거짓을 붙들고 선악과를 범하는 순간 모든 인간은 아담과 함께 영원한 지옥형벌을 선고받았습니다(창세기 2:17, 로마서3:23). 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님은 우리를 사랑하사 그리스도를 통해 우리를 구원하시겠다는 새 언약(창세기3:15절을 비롯한 모든 성경)을 주셨습니다. 우리 각 사람에게 주어진 육신의 삶의 기간은 선고받은 지옥형벌에서 사면복권받을 수 있는 기간으로 허용하셨습니다. 하나님은 그 기간에 세가지를 붙들 수 있는 기회를 주셨습니다. 첫째, 예수그리스도를 구주로 영접하여 새 생명 얻을 수 있는 기회입니다. 둘째, 새 생명(예수 생명) 얻은 자들이 예수그리스도의 장성한 분량에 이르기까지 성장할 기회입니다. 셋째, 주변 사람들에게 예수그리스도의 증인이 되어 전도의 열매를 맺어 영원한 상급을 얻을 수 있는 기회를 주셨습니다. 그러나 사탄의 무리는 이 세 가지를 못하도록 끈질기게 방해합니다. 그러기 때문에 인생은 영적 전쟁을 하는 기간이라 하는 것입니다. 전쟁 중에 무엇에 집중하며 싸워야 할지는 자명한 일입니다. 그런데도 속아 사는 인생들은 전쟁 중에 재산 모으느라 혈안이 되어 살다가 주어진 기회 다 놓쳐버리고 영원한 지옥형벌 속으로 끌려가게 되는 것입니다. 마귀에게 사기당한 인간은 절대로 마귀와 세상을 이길 수 없습니다. 그래서 승리하신 예수그리스도를 구주로 모시고 항상 함께 살며 승리하신 주님의 깃발을 곳곳마다 세우는 삶을 사는 것입니다.
어느 누구나 인생의 목적은 구원받는 것입니다. 구원받은 사람은 남은 인생을 사는 동안 하나님의 구원 사역에 동역자로 쓰임받는 것입니다. 주어진 육신의 삶을 마치면 주님 품에 안겨 하룻밤 잘 자다가 세상 끝날인 주 예수님 재림의 날에 천국 혼인잔치에 참여하게 될 것입니다. 첫 열매로 부활하셨던 주예수님의 부활의 몸과 같은 몸을 덧입고 영원한 영화의 삶인 본향의 삶, 천국의 삶으로 들어가게 되는 것입니다. 임마누엘 누리시며 승리하시기를 축원합니다.

Anyone Who Holds to God's Word Will Succeed
Originally, human beings were created as the crown of creation, meant to hold to God's Word and live while enjoying His glory. However, they were deceived by the devil's lies, though the devil was meant to be under their feet and subject to their authority. They rebelled against God and became children destined for hell. This is humanity's fundamental problem, and it is called original sin. Nevertheless, God loved us and gave us the Word of the new covenant, promising to save us through Christ. Those who believe in Christ, God's new covenant, and receive Him as their Lord and Savior are called Christians.
1. The reasons Christians fail.
Christians are people who can live successful lives simply by holding to God's Word. However, one of the greatest reasons Christians fail is that they try to hold to the Word they personally want to hear. We must hold to the Word given by God, who is our Master. If Christians seek only the Word that suits their own desires, it is evidence that they are still acting as masters of their own lives and remain bound by original sin. Furthermore, many who call themselves Christians live without understanding that God speaks to them through the church. As a result, they live according to what seems right in their own eyes and attend church as a religious activity intended to benefit themselves. Consequently, churches throughout the world are becoming increasingly weak, and many church buildings are even closing their doors. Moreover, many people who call themselves Christians cannot even imagine living as lights in a world of darkness. Instead, they cling to the world and live as its servants merely to survive. What is even more frightening is that they are serving Satan without realizing it.
2. We must understand God's purpose in calling us.
God's purpose in calling Christians is revealed in four ways. First, He called those whom He wanted. Second, He called them to be with Him continually. Third, He appointed them as witnesses of Christ to the people around them so that they could evangelize. Fourth, He gave them authority to drive out the evil spirits that dominate and deceive the world. (Mark 3:13-15) God brings about this entire new way of life by giving His Word through the church. Therefore, the most important thing in our life of faith is receiving God's Word through the church. Believers must not search merely for the Word they personally want to hear. Even pastors who deliver the Word will fail if they simply prepare and preach sermons according to their own ideas. They must receive, with fear and trembling, the Word God gives to themselves and their congregations, and faithfully communicate it. Such a pastor is called a messenger. A messenger must accurately hold to and proclaim the Word God desires to give. If this foundation is shaken, local churches and individual believers will inevitably lose their direction.
3. The Lord gives His Word through the pulpit of the church, which is His body.
Those who are sick should certainly seek help from doctors and pharmacists when necessary. However, even more important is accurately holding to the Word God gives us. Our life and death, blessings and misfortunes, are in God's hands. Satan seeks to prevent human beings from approaching God and ultimately lead them into eternal hell. To accomplish this, he employs every possible method to prevent people from receiving God's Word. As a result, although human beings were created as the highest of all creatures and live within the universe God created, many spend their lives teaching and learning the devil's lies. Many people do not consider the Word of Genesis 1:1, which is fundamental to faith, to be important. Instead, the sermon argues that worldly education is founded on the Big Bang theory concerning the origin of the universe and evolutionary theory, which teaches that living organisms arose by chance and developed through successive stages of evolution until the present day. Because the foundation is misdirected, people's lives themselves follow the wrong path.
Conclusion: We must become one with God, who is the Word.
Human beings, who were created in God's image, can truly be happy only when they live before God while holding to His Word. The moment humanity disobeyed the Word of the first covenant, believed the devil's lies, and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, all people, together with Adam, came under the sentence of eternal punishment in hell. (Genesis 2:17; Romans 3:23) Nevertheless, God loved us and gave us the new covenant, promising to save us through Christ, as revealed throughout Scripture beginning with Genesis 3:15. The period of physical life given to each person is a period in which God allows us the opportunity to receive pardon and restoration from the sentence of eternal punishment in hell. During this period, God gives us three opportunities to hold to. First, we have the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and obtain new life. Second, those who have received new life, the life of Jesus, have the opportunity to grow toward the full measure of maturity in Jesus Christ. Third, God gives us the opportunity to become witnesses of Jesus Christ to the people around us, bear the fruit of evangelism, and receive eternal rewards. However, the forces of Satan persistently interfere to prevent us from experiencing these three blessings. That is why our time on earth is described as a period of spiritual warfare. It should be obvious what we must focus on while fighting a war. Nevertheless, people who live in deception become obsessed with accumulating wealth in the middle of this spiritual battle. They eventually lose all the opportunities given to them and are led into eternal punishment in hell. Human beings deceived by the devil can never overcome the devil and the world by their own strength. Therefore, we must receive the victorious Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, live continually with Him, and raise the banner of our victorious Lord wherever we go.
The purpose of every person's life is to receive salvation. Those who have received salvation are to be used as coworkers in God's work of salvation throughout the remainder of their lives. When their appointed physical lives come to an end, they will rest in the Lord's embrace as though sleeping peacefully for a single night. Then, on the day of the Lord Jesus' second coming at the end of the world, they will participate in the heavenly wedding banquet. They will be clothed with resurrection bodies like that of the Lord Jesus, who rose as the firstfruits, and enter the eternal life of glorification—the life of their heavenly home, the life of heaven.
