롬3:23 누구나 두 길중에 한 길을 가게 됩니다

인생길이 복잡한 듯 보이지만 누구나 두 길중에 한 길을 가게 됩니다. 시작은 누구나 아담과 함께 첫 언약을 범하고 하나님께 반역하여 멸망 길로 빠져 버린 상태에서 인생을 시작합니다(로마서3:23). 그러나 하나님이 우리 인간을 불쌍히 여기시고 사랑하사 영생의 길을 열어 주셨습니다(요한복음3:16, 창세기3:15). 첫 사람 아담과 하와는 이 새 언약을 붙들고 구원받아 영생의 길에 들어섰으나, 그 아들 가인은 피제사를 드리는 예배 모임에는 참석했으나 멸망 길에서 빠져나오지 못했습니다. 주어진 구원의 길로 안내하는 역할은 성경과 전도자들과 부모들이 감당하도록 하셨습니다. 그러므로 먼저 구원받은 우리 각 사람에게는 하나님께서 주시는 유일무이한 사명이 있습니다. 주변에 자신에게 맡겨진 사람들을 구원의 길로 인도하고 양육하는 전도자의 사명입니다. 이를 위해 우리를 지으시고 구원하신 하나님이 항상 곁에서 함께하시며 힘을 주십니다.

 

1. 사람에게 가장 중요한 것은 천국에서 선포된 복음의 말씀입니다.

우리 일생에 가장 중요한 일은 천국에서 선포된 말씀을 받고 전하는 일입니다. 이 사명 가진 전도자들에게 하나님은 특별히 함께하시며 힘을 주십니다. 아담과 함께 하나님께 반역하여 원죄에 빠진 모든 사람에게 오직 필요한 유일한 해답이 복음입니다. 그게 바로 그리스도를 통하여 너희를 구원하시겠다는 언약(구약성경 39권)이고, ‘예수님이 그리스도시다!’ 라는 말씀입니다(신약 성경 27권). 모든 성경(66권)은 예수그리스도에 관한 기록입니다.

원죄에 빠진 모든 사람들(롬3:23)의 근본 영적 상태는 멸망의 길에 있는 마귀 자녀들(요한복음8:44)입니다. 인력으로는 마귀의 올무에서 절대 못 빠져나옵니다. 그래서 이 근본 문제에서 해방받을 수 있는 길을 하나님께서 열어주셨는데, 그 길이 바로 그리스도입니다.

그리스도를 통해 구원하시겠다고 약속하신 하나님께서 직접 육신을 입고 예수그리스도로 오셨습니다(요한복음1:14, 마태복음1장). 예수께서 구원 사역을 십자가에서 다 이루셨음을 선포하셨습니다(요한복음19:30). 사흘 만에 부활하사 지금도 살아계시며 전도자들을 통해 각 시대, 각 지역, 각 사람들의 마음의 문을 노크하고 계십니다(계시록3:20). 이 사실을 말하는 것이 복음 전도입니다.

 

2. 복음이 증거되는 현장에는 성 삼위 하나님과 천사들이 역사하십니다.

예수님께서 4 복음서에 기록된 공생애에 하셨던 일의 결론은 “회개하라 천국(영생의 길)이 네 앞에 이르렀느니라!”입니다. 예수께서 부활하사 제자들에게 전도자의 일을 맡기시며 주셨던 최종 약속이 바로 사도행전1:8절의 약속입니다. 공생애때 하셨던 제자 찾고, 치유하고, 말씀을 가르치시고, 생명 운동 하신 일들을 믿는 우리를 통해서 같이 하시겠다는 것입니다. 이를 믿고 따르는 모든 전도자들에게 천군 천사들이 수종들며(히브리서1:14), 주변의 흑암 세력들이 결박되는 것입니다(누가복음10:19). 그러므로 언제 어디서든 각 전도자들에게 필요한 것은 오직 성령께서 우리의 모든 것을 충만하게 주관하시도록 맡겨드리는 것입니다.

 

3. 하나님께서는 복음 전도자들과 특별히 함께하시며 모든 필요를 공급하십니다.

함께 손을 맞잡고 사역할 동역자들도 붙여주십니다. 초대교회 시절 바울과 디모데와 누가와 마가의 관계는 정말 아름다운 동역자들의 모델입니다. 신앙인들의 힘의 근원은 하나님으로부터 나오지만 이런 신앙의 동역자들이 있다면 더 큰 힘이 됩니다. 이런 동역의 관계를 이루어가기 위해서는 우리의 눈과 마음을 오직 주 예수님께 고정시켜야 합니다. 그러면 우리처럼 주님께 눈과 마음을 고정시키고 사역할 종들을 만나게 하실 것입니다.

특별히 ‘브리스가’와 ‘아굴라’ 부부는 바울의 선교에 큰 도움을 준 사람들이었습니다. 로마서16:4절을 보면 “그들은 내 목숨을 위하여 자기들의 목까지도 내놓았다고” 하였습니다. 그 외에도 많은 동역자들의 이름이 로마서 16장에 기록되어 있습니다. 이처럼 이 땅에서 가장 아름다운 관계를 칭찬하신 내용이 성경에 기록되어 있습니다. “형제가 연합하여 동거함이 어찌 그리 아름다운고!!”

에베소서 6:11-12절에 “마귀의 궤계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라 /우리의 씨름은 혈과 육에 대한 것이 아니요 정사와 권세와 이 어두움의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들에게 대함이라” 하셨습니다. 누가복음 10:19절에 “내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권세를 주었으니 너희를 해할 자가 결단코 없으리라” 하셨습니다. 믿는 모든 성도들은 주어진 천국 보좌 옆자리(에베소서2:6절)에 앉아 하나님께 직고할 수 있습니다. 흑암을 꺾는 영적 파수꾼의 사명을 잘 감당하시며, 재앙에 시달리는 주변의 많은 사람을 생명의 길로 인도하는 일에 귀히 쓰임 받으시기를 바랍니다.

Romans 3:23 Everyone Walks One of Two Paths.

 

Although the path of life seems complicated, the fact is everyone walks one of two paths. Everyone begins life by breaking the first covenant with Adam, rebelling against God, and falling into the path of destruction (Romans 3:23 NIV: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"). However, God had mercy on us humans and loved us, opening the way to eternal life (John 3:16 NIV: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."; Genesis 3:15 NIV: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”"). The first people, Adam and Eve, grasped this new covenant, were saved, and entered the path of eternal life, but their son Cain attended the worship gathering where blood sacrifices were offered yet could not escape the path of destruction. The role of guiding people to the given path of salvation has been entrusted to the Bible, evangelists, and parents. Therefore, each of us who have first received salvation has a unique mission given by God. It is the mission of an evangelist to lead and nurture the people entrusted to them in their surroundings onto the path of salvation. For this, God, who created and saved us, is always with us and gives us strength.

 

1. The most important thing for humanity is the Word of the gospel proclaimed in heaven.

The most important task in our lives is to receive and proclaim the Word proclaimed from heaven. To evangelists with this mission, God is specially with them and gives them strength. For all people who rebelled against God with Adam and fell into original sin, the only necessary solution is the gospel. That is the covenant (39 books of the Old Testament) that God would save them through Christ, and the Word (27 books of the New Testament) that 'Jesus is the Christ!' All Scripture (66 books) is a record about Jesus Christ.

The fundamental spiritual state of all people who have fallen into original sin (Romans 3:23 NIV: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,") is that they are children of the devil on the path to destruction (John 8:44 NIV: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."). By human power, one can absolutely not escape the devil's snare. Therefore, God opened a way to be liberated from this fundamental problem, and that way is Christ.

God, who promised to save through Christ, personally took on flesh and came as Jesus Christ (John 1:14 NIV: "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."; Matthew 1 NIV). Jesus proclaimed that He had completed the work of salvation on the cross (John 19:30 NIV: "When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit."). He resurrected on the third day and is still alive today, knocking on the doors of people's hearts in every era, every region, through evangelists (Revelation 3:20 NIV: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."). To tell this truth is gospel evangelism.

 

2. In the fields where the gospel is proclaimed, the Triune God and angels work.

The conclusion of what Jesus did during His public ministry, recorded in the four Gospels, is: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven (the path to eternal life) has come near!" The final promise Jesus gave to His disciples after His resurrection, entrusting them with the work of evangelism, is the promise in Acts 1:8 NIV: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”" He will do with us, who believe, the works He did during His public ministry: finding disciples, healing, teaching the Word, and conducting a life movement. For all evangelists who believe and follow this, heavenly hosts of angels minister to them (Hebrews 1:14 NIV: "Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?"), and the surrounding forces of darkness are bound (Luke 10:19 NIV: "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."). Therefore, what each evangelist needs anytime, anywhere, is simply to entrust everything to the Holy Spirit to fully govern them.

 

3. God is specially with gospel evangelists and supplies all their needs.

He also provides partners to work hand in hand with. The relationships of Paul, Timothy, Luke, and Mark in the early church era are truly beautiful models of partners. The source of believers' strength comes from God, but having such partners in faith provides even greater strength. To build such a partnership, we must fix our eyes and hearts solely on the Lord Jesus. Then He will lead us to servants who will fix their eyes and hearts on the Lord and minister, just like us.

Particularly, the couple Priscilla and Aquila were people who greatly helped Paul's mission. Romans 16:4 NIV states: "They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them." In addition, the names of many other partners are recorded in Romans 16. In this way, the Bible records commendations of the most beautiful relationships on this earth. "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1 NIV).

Ephesians 6:11-12 NIV states: "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Luke 10:19 NIV states: "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." All believing saints can sit in their appointed place next to the heavenly throne (Ephesians 2:6 NIV: "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,") and appeal directly to God. May you faithfully carry out the mission of a spiritual watchman who breaks the darkness, and be used preciously in leading many people around you, suffering from calamities, to the path of life.
