Exodus 31
The Tabernacle, The Visible Covenant of Christ (Exodus 25:1-9)
Today’s passage, chapters 25 to 31, are the instructions for the tabernacle—a model of Christ—and its furnishings that
Moses received while staying on Mount Sinai for forty days and nights. God decided to meet the future generation of Israel
and reveal His will through this tabernacle. The tabernacle is a type of Jesus Christ—Immanuel God, and in fact,
each part of the tabernacle typifies the character and work of Jesus Christ, who saved us, with amazing accuracy.
The tabernacle is also called the sanctuary. It is the dwelling place of God.
The Tent of Meeting means a place to meet with God.

Conclusion: This tabernacle was completed through Christ.
1) The temple completed through Christ is built within us.

3) Verse 30, John 6:48, 51
4) The pure gold lampstand in verse 37 is a device that brightly lights up the sanctuary.
After Adam committed sin, God could not dwell with people. However, in the patriarchal era after Adam,
God was with his people through the altar of blood sacrifices given as a confession of faith in the covenant of Christ.
Before and after the Exodus, God spoke through Moses, a symbol of Christ, and showed His presence on Mount Sinai for a while
when he gave the Ten Commandments. But now He was telling them He will dwell among the Israelites through the tabernacle. God's purpose in calling us is to always be with us. It is not enough to just have God in our lives.
He must always be the center of our lives. Don't place Him be on the sidelines.
The location of the tabernacle was in the center of the Israelites.
May the Lord Jesus Christ always be the center of your life.
For this purpose, we must live by holding on to the Word given and meditating day and night.
I bless you in the name of the Lord: may you always be with the Lord until the end of the world and be victorious everyday.
