Exodus 12.
Let God’s People Go (Exodus 9:1-12)
God shows how thoroughly a sinner man is through Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Even though he sees God's great power,
he does not accept His word and try to focus on himself. He is his own master and do not give up harming his neighbors for
his own material abundance. The text also shows that God's purpose in governing all things in the universe is to save his people.
It may not have been easy for Moses to travel to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and deliver the word of God, but we can see him
obeying until the end. God gives the word and works through the word. The Lord spoke and told Moses to tell it, and Pharaoh,
the king of Egypt, who received the word of God, disobeyed the word and fell deeper and deeper into the swamp of curses.
1. The problems of Egypt and Israel are the problems of this land.
1) Even the Israelites who had immigrated to Egypt lost sight of the gospel.
2) God is carrying out the Exodus from Egypt that He promised through Moses.
3) Non-believers are born with no choice but to go down the road to hell, the path to destruction.
4) The world is now facing a serious crisis in all areas.
2. We must find the causes and solutions to problems.
1) People are beings who must live by holding on to the Word of God, who is God.
2) We must recognize the fundamental problem, repent, and hold on to the covenant of Christ alone.
3) Then, we will be able to correctly diagnose the world's problems and enjoy the answers.
4) Verses 1 and 13 say, “They will serve me.”
3. The Lord speaks and acts as He says.
1) Now, it is God’s will for Israel to exodus from Egypt while holding on to the blood covenant.
2) He wants to defeat the devil who deceives people and raise the banner of Christ’s victory.
3) In verses 5-6, because man cannot do it, “the Lord will do it.”
4) In verses 8 to 12, the plague of boils is introduced.
Conclusion: There was no plaque in the land of Goshen in Israel.
1) In verses 13 and below, the hail plague appears.
2) As children of God, we are okay as long as we are in Christ.
3) Verse 26 says there was no hail in the land of Goshen of the Israelites.
4) In verse 16, we must find the purpose and reason for life.
People who have left God have become their own masters and are completely addicted to idols. We must help them realize
that the things they serve are as vain as the gods of Egypt, and help them to hold on to only Christ and enter the path of
salvation. As people of Christ, our fight is not against flesh and blood, but a spiritual fight. I hope you will carry the banner of
the victorious Lord and enjoy the blessing of hoisting the banner of Christ everywhere. It would not have been easy for old man Moses to visit Pharaoh and deliver the word of God. However, God said that Moses, who held on to the word of God, would be made a god to Pharaoh. The maturity of our faith is achieved through whether we will walk the path we want and whether we
will walk the path that holds on to the word of God and follows it. ‘The path of holding on to the word God has given us is
the path of being with God. When Peter remembered the Lord's words through the rooster's crow at dawn, his life was renewed.
I hope you hold on to 3 todays, enjoy it, and win.
