영적 존재인 사람은 영들을 잘 분별해야 합니다
사람의 근본에 관해 성경 창세기 1장 26절을 보면 “하나님이 가라사대 우리의 형상을 따라 우리의 모양대로 우리가 사람을 만들고 그로 바다의 고기와 공중의 새와 육축과 온 땅과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다스리게 하자 하시고”라고 간단명료하게 말씀하셨습니다. 사람을 영적 존재라 하지만 각기 자기 자신의 영혼을 가진 존재라고 보기는 어렵습니다. 성경 한글 번역본에 영혼이라 번역된 단어를 영어 성경 중 가장 권위 있는 킹제임스 역은 대부분 혼(soul)으로 번역했습니다. 혼(soul)을 영혼(spirit)으로 번역했음은 아마도 한국의 뿌리 깊은 무속신앙의 영향인 듯합니다. 영으로 존재하시는 분은 창조주 하나님이시며, 피조물 중 하나님과 사람을 섬기도록 지음 받은 천군 천사들이 영으로 존재합니다. 찬양 사역을 맡은 천사들이었으나 사람보다 먼저 하나님께 반역하여 영원한 지옥 형벌을 선고받은 마귀와 악령들도 영원한 지옥 형벌이 집행되기 전까지는 영으로 존재합니다.
1. 본래 사람은 하나님과 함께 만물을 다스리는 존재였습니다.
사람은 자신의 혼으로 하나님의 언약을 붙들고 하나님과 함께 만물을 다스리는 존재로 피조된 것입니다. 그러나 아담(사람)은 옛 뱀을 통해 마귀에게 속아 에덴동산에서 하나님의 언약을 깨버리고 마귀의 거짓을 붙들고 하나님처럼 되려고 하나님께 반역한 것입니다. 이때부터 인간의 혼은 타락하여 마귀의 노예로 전락한 것입니다. 그 결과를 요한복음 8장 44절은 “너희는 너희 아비 마귀에게서 났으니 너희 아비의 욕심을 너희도 행하고자 하느니라 저는 처음부터 살인한 자요 진리가 그 속에 없으므로 진리에 서지 못하고 거짓을 말할 때마다 제 것으로 말하나니 이는 저가 거짓말장이요 거짓의 아비가 되었음이니라” 하신 것입니다. 하나님의 사람이 마귀의 종으로 전락되어 버린 것입니다. 자신의 혼 안에 하나님을 모셔야 하는 존재가 하나님과 단절되어 영적 죽음이 오고 영원한 지옥 형벌이 선고된 것입니다. 그런데도 우리 사람을 사랑하시는 하나님께서 모든 문제 해결 받고 새 생명 얻을 수 있는 그리스도 언약을 세워주셨습니다.
2. 우리에게 주어진 인생은 구원받을 수 있는 유일한 기회입니다.
모든 각 사람은 그리스도 언약 붙들고 구원받을 수 있는 유일무이한 기회로 인생을 부여받습니다. 구원받기 위해서는 3가지를 잘 알고 붙들어야 합니다. 첫째, 본래 인간은 어떤 존재이며, 둘째, 인간의 근본 문제는 무엇이며, 셋째, 유일한 해결의 길인 그리스도 언약은 무엇인가를 알고 자신의 혼 중심에 그리스도를 구주로 모셔야 합니다. 그러나 세상 임금 마귀와 악령들은 끊임없이 이를 알지 못하고 붙들지 못하도록 온갖 거짓으로 속이고 있습니다. 그러나 거룩하신 하나님의 성령께서 전도자들과 성경을 통해서 그리스도 언약을 붙들 수 있도록 돕습니다. 제1 전도자 아담을 비롯해서 아벨, 셋, 에녹, 노아, 아브라함, 여러 선지자, 초대교회, 개혁 교회를 통해 끊임없이 복음을 전파해 오게 하셨습니다. 거짓과 복음 중 선택은 각 사람의 자유의지가 중요합니다.
사람은 자기 혼의 판단에 따라 말하고 행동하는 것 같지만, 사실은 거룩하신 성령의 인도를 받거나 아니면 세상 임금 마귀와 악령들에 따라 움직이는 존재입니다. 그래서 그리스도 예수님의 사도 중 가장 오랫동안 사역했던 요한은 요한일서 4장 1절에 “사랑하는 자들아 영을 다 믿지 말고 오직 영들이 하나님께 속하였나 시험하라 많은 거짓 선지자가 세상에 나왔음이니라”라고 명하신 것입니다. 믿지 말라는 것은 속지 말라는 말입니다. 이 명령은 현재형으로 언제든 우리가 미혹의 영에 속을 수 있는 위험에 노출되어 있음을 의미합니다. 또한 영을 다 믿지 말라는 경고는 우리가 믿을 수 있는 영은 단 하나 하나님의 영 뿐임을 의미합니다.
3. 하나님께 속한 영과 세상의 영을 분별할 수 있는 기준
요한일서 4장 2~3절에 사도 요한은 영을 분별할 수 있는 명쾌한 기준을 제시합니다. 하나님께서 우리를 구하시기 위해 우리와 같은 육체로 오신 분이 바로 예수 그리스도이심을 시인하는 영은 하나님께 속했고, 시인하지 아니하는 영은 하나님께 속하지 않았다는 것입니다.
복음은 간단명료합니다. 창세기 3:15절의 언약대로 하나님께서 직접 그리스도로 오셨습니다. 십자가에서 모든 문제 해결하셨고 부활하사 지금도 살아계시며 각 사람의 마음의 문을 두드리시는 것이 복음입니다(계시록 3:20절). 이 복음을 듣고 요한복음 1:12절과 같이 내게 오신 예수 그리스도를 구주로 영접하여 모시면 영생을 얻고 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세가 주어집니다. 자신의 혼 중심에 그리스도를 구주로 모시면 그리스도와 한 몸 되며 영원한 생명이 임한 것이요 하나님께 속한 영혼이 된 것입니다. 그리스도와 한 몸 된 사람은 성령께서 주관하시기 때문에 자신의 신분을 알고 주님과 동행하는 삶을 살게 됩니다. 그러면 주님 안에서 한 형제 자매 된 지체들이 누군지 알게 되고 세상의 영에 잡혀있는 불신자도 파악할 수 있게 됩니다.
그리스도 언약의 핵심은 성육신과 십자가 구속과 부활하심입니다. 거짓의 아비 마귀는 이 그리스도 언약을 교묘하게 가감하며 비비 꼬고 변질시키며 속여왔습니다. 그러나 만물의 창조주이신 하나님이 우리를 사랑하시므로 성육신하사 우리를 위해 대속죽음을 죽으시고 부활하셨습니다. 이 예수 그리스도를 믿는 각 사람에게 성령께서 임하사 영원토록 함께 하시며 책임져주십니다. 이를 믿고 그리스도를 구주로 영접하여 모시고 사는 우리에게는 우리가 주님 안에 거하고 주님은 우리 안에 거하는 완전한 하나 됨이 예수님을 믿는 기준입니다. 이런 사람은 주님의 선한 청지기로 살며 천국 보좌 중심의 복된 삶을 살 수 있게 됩니다.

People as Spiritual Beings Must Discern Spirits Well
Regarding the fundamental nature of humanity, Genesis 1:26 states concisely: “Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’” Although people are said to be spiritual beings, it is difficult to view each person as possessing their own individual spirit (yeonghon). The King James Version, among English Bible versions, which is the most authoritative, uses the word “soul” for the word translated into “yeonghon (which means spirit)” in the Korean Bible. Translating the word into “spirit” instead “soul” seems to be the influence of Korea's deeply rooted shamanistic beliefs. The One who exists as Spirit is the Creator God, and among created beings, the hosts of angels who were created to serve God and people exist as spirits. Angels who were in charge of praise ministry, but who rebelled against God before humans and were sentenced to eternal hellfire—beings who fell and became demons and evil spirits—also exist as spirits until the eternal hellfire is executed.
1. Originally, humans were beings who ruled over all things with God.
Humans were created as beings who held onto God's covenant with their souls and ruled over all things with God. However, Adam (humanity) was deceived by the devil through the ancient serpent, broke God's covenant in the Garden of Eden, held onto the devil's lies, and rebelled against God, trying to become like God. From this time on, the human soul became corrupted and enslaved to the devil. John 8:44 states the result: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." God's people were reduced to the devil's servants. Beings who should have had God in their souls were cut off from God, spiritual death came, and eternal hellfire was sentenced. Nevertheless, God, who loves us, has established the covenant of Christ so that we can receive a solution to all problems and gain new life.
2. The life given to us is the only opportunity to be saved.
Every individual is given life as a unique opportunity to be saved by holding onto the covenant of Christ. To be saved, you must know and hold onto three things well. First, what was the original human being? Second, what is the fundamental problem of humanity? Third, what is the covenant of Christ, the only way to solve it? And you must accept Christ as your Lord and Savior in the center of your soul. However, the ruler of this world, the devil and evil spirits, are constantly deceiving people with all kinds of lies so that they do not know and hold onto this. However, the Holy Spirit of the holy God helps people hold onto the covenant of Christ through evangelists and the Bible. He has constantly spread the gospel through the first evangelist Adam, as well as Abel, Seth, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, many prophets, the early church, and the reformed church. The choice between falsehood and the gospel depends on each person's free will.
People seem to speak and act according to the judgment of their souls, but in fact, they are beings who move according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit or according to the devil and evil spirits, the rulers of this world. Therefore, John, the apostle of Jesus Christ who ministered the longest, commanded in 1 John 4:1, "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." To not believe means to not be deceived. This command is in the present tense, meaning that we are always exposed to the danger of being deceived by a deceiving spirit. Also, the warning not to believe every spirit means that the only Spirit we can believe is the Spirit of God.
3. The standard for distinguishing between the Spirit belonging to God and the spirit of the world
In 1 John 4:2-3, the Apostle John presents a clear standard for distinguishing spirits. The spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ is the one who came in the flesh like us to save us belongs to God, and the spirit that does not acknowledge it does not belong to God.
The gospel is simple and clear. As promised in Genesis 3:15, God came directly as Christ. The gospel is that He solved all problems on the cross, resurrected, and is still alive and knocking on the door of each person's heart (Revelation 3:20). When we hear this gospel and accept Jesus Christ who came to us as our Lord and Savior as in John 1:12, we receive eternal life and are given the authority to become children of God. When you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior in the center of your soul, you become one with Christ, eternal life comes, and you become a soul belonging to God. A person who is one with Christ is governed by the Holy Spirit, so he knows his identity and lives a life of walking with the Lord. Then he knows who the members who have become brothers and sisters in the Lord are, and he can also identify unbelievers who are held captive by the spirit of the world.
The core of the covenant of Christ is the Incarnation, the Atonement on the Cross, and the Resurrection. The devil, the father of lies, has subtly added to, subtracted from, twisted, and altered this covenant of Christ and deceived people. But God, the Creator of all things, loves us, so He incarnated, died a substitutionary death for us, and resurrected. The Holy Spirit comes to each person who believes in this Jesus Christ, is with them forever, and takes responsibility for them. For us who believe this and receive, serve, and live with Christ as Lord and Savior, the standard for believing in Jesus is the perfect oneness where we abide in the Lord and the Lord abides in us. Such a person can live as the Lord's good steward and live a blessed life centered on the throne of heaven.
